Absolutely!, although if you decided to swap out your key passive the crit damage investments aren't as beneficial. You'd be wanting a more DoT based build I could think off the top of my head of a varied amount of ways to swap this spec over to something of that nature. Swap all the crit focus for poison or DoT for starters. In addition, you'd want to take say redirected force off immediately for something like Creeping death and then proceed to stack Crowd control. There are also a few glyph changes I would recommend those being Bane and Canny swapped out for any crit centered glyphs we might have. As far as aspects go I wouldn't swap much more than the previously mentioned for creeping, apart from that redirecting focus away from crit you would want to get rid of interdiction and your sources of block chance/resolve as you wouldn't get any benefit from those variables. Initially what i would recommend with skills is probably swapping out your basic for thrash or even say withering fist as splitter is used to gain resolve and block chance both of which would be useless in this theoretical spec. I would also directly trade out all your spec in armored hide for say toxic skin as it would follow the same principles we just discussed. This would then make the colossal glyph worthless so don't forget to trade that one out as well. The final recommendation if you did all that would be to take your 4 points out of preservation and endurance to attribute somewhere else as they are no longer viable. The last thing I'm thinking of is that i don't have balanced exertion (core skill tree passive that grants (x) core dmg for (x) increased vigor)it wasn't on maxroll at the time of crafting and has since been added to all my builds so I'd go ahead and invest some of the points you would otherwise save in the skill tree into that. Hopefully this isn't too confusing and serves to help you out when it comes to crafting up your build! With that being said I'll add this build concept to my list so that here in the near future I can make a proper guide rather than just an overly complicated and drawn out youtube comment haha :)
@@GoatedGrand awesome thanks for the quick respone. Gonna experiment today with that. Hope it at least is an viable endgame build, because i really enjoy the dot gameplay.
I don't think i've seen any other centipede guides use so many of the other animal talents. Interesting.
How high you think you can push with this in the pit?
Great explanation of the build , but could a build work without the keypassive ? Really dont like that it consumes dots
