Atrafana, your videos have inspired me to pick up Flamenco, where I previously studied classical. My question is, will a classical guitar (Manuel Rodriguez) suffice to practice flamenco technique until I reach a certain level of skill in flamenco? Other than golpes and tonal quality, it seems like most of the flamenco techniques are transferable between classical and flamenco guitars.Thank you!
Excellent demonstration of picado. Very inspiring for me. I have problems with my nails clicking. Is there any way to prevent nail noise? I have tried different nail lengths , letting the flesh touch the string before nail, etc, but continue having the problem. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Sam
No sé si es demasiado tarde, pero el maestro hace stacatto pprque defiende la teoría de que el picado a altas velocidades ya no es picado, sino qie es stacatto, fíjate en el movimiento de un picado rápido, es como el stacatto.

Desde el minuto 1:40 en adelante tiene el playback speed aumentado a 1.25×..solo tienen q mirar los parpados del guitarrista..cuando lo cierra y los abre..porfavor no ofender la inteligencia de los demas..gracias
Try better to be slow and pure flamenco. Take your time and sound flamenco. Speed is not identical or more flamenco. Slow flamenco is more difficult than fast...

Nada mas, y sobre todo, no hay que ponerse nervioso ! Y hablar de alma y de sentimiento pa el flamenco, creo que no es pregunta de origen (payo, gitano ...) Paco de Lucia era la prueba de esto.
