Nice to see a vid that isn't for total beginners. I can play these lines easily with a pick. Working on traditional picado for a recital though, so this is helpful. Thanks, well played.
You are amazing Orhan always love watching your videos. I can do a few of your picado exercises I just have to work hard on increasing the speeds. I have a love for Paco de Lucia as well as you do. Hopefully one day I can play a full song.
hi..very nice and variety of demo using Picado technique with scale runs, thirds, golpe, rasgueados licks in between makes it more interesting and colourful besides whole length of the fret board until the octave Is covered..Quite inspiring indeed..Thanks so much..warm cheers..siva..gtr..India..(guitsiva)..
Bravo, that's incredible! A question... do you ever switch which finger you start with on a picado passage, in order to become ambidextrous, or do you standardize how you play something and always play it that way?
ChuloDavidcito Great question. I always have a standard finger choice for each sequence. But I do try the other finger too from time to time to be somewhat ambifingerous :-)
Picado...need tons of practice, still nowhere close to "speed" I like to play, me very very slow - but I guess our brain needs to be trained - always alternate two fingers in right order is probably one of hardest to get it right - and being patient of course. Needless to say, quite impressive speed and accuracy you got here!
Hello, I have a question, when using the index to pick another string I use it 2 times, not alternate with middle, I mean when I play a scale I pick 2 times with the index while changing the string... Is it ok?
I can play these easily with my pick, but with fingers it´s another world, altough I can play up to 4 notes per beat with nails ,I get tangled when try to go upwards
how about a very super slow introduction to understand what and how you are playing....i understand this is an excersice..even if video is in englisn/spanish whatever..as long as i can understand what you do to the dot and work on doing that and getting some speed.thanks.
:-) Experts say that mental practice is sometimes even better than physical practice. So, it is good that you are practising in your dreams. I saw your buleria video btw; I think you underestimate yourself...

Can I get the TAB for these exercises? That would be great so i can practice with lower bpm :)
Picadology - The only meaningful pursuit in life! :)
To be able to play picado or not, that's the question.
i guess it's kind of randomly asking but do anybody know a good site to watch newly released series online?
@Benedict Terry Flixportal xD
@Simon Rory Thanks, I went there and it seems like a nice service =) I appreciate it!
@Benedict Terry no problem :D

Wow~~~ It’s art! I will follow this practice. Bravo~~~
I love how he screws up a note at 0:33 and after he's like "hmm so-so" and after he looks at the viewer as if they noticed it
Amazing! Cannot wait to start your course 👍🏻
Great! Atrafana, All your videos are worthy in every second.

Thanks!! I'm nowhere near your level, but that's pretty much what I'm trying to do, and I'm glad to hear it from the master!
Me podias decir, gracias.

Picado naps, I call them. The sequence at 4:47 is by Gerardo Nunez.
Grandioso mi querido amigo, saludos, Jesus
Thank you. I also wish to play full pieces. I need the time and energy for that,

Great Techniques and Exercises. Do you have Tabs? Thank you!!!

I wish you have warming up stuffs for alzapua, rasguado, tremolo, arpergios... thanks!
I identified a few phrases that are played by Paco de Lucia: guajiras de lucia, percussion flamenca, punta umbria. What others do we have there?
which the name of the scale that you are playing the flamenco, please?
Cool! So fast that I remember my grandma's sewing machine!
Thanks for these falseta exercises. By the way, what model/tension of strings are you using? Best regards.
D'addario EJ25B flamenco strings

Any sheet music for this available? Thanks
Check out the other videos on my channel for very slow demos of these passages.
Hello, I have a question, when using the index to pick another string I use it 2 times, not alternate with middle, I mean when I play a scale I pick 2 times with the index while changing the string... Is it ok?
Don't do that. Always alternate.
Thank you!
Fantastic! Are your fingers loose and relaxed or tense and strong ?
macleod41069 bit of both
What scales are you using?
hey, are u using rest strokes or free strokes?
rest
Great!
Excellent
Cheepers how many years did that take you to play like that ?
Rest stroke or free stroke?
Paco?..You are good.Now I’m gonna go practice because I thought I was getting good..lol
Hello, why if you play with 3 fingers like you do in dos aguas, you don t play all the time with 3 fingers? it is faster?
Someday I will master this speed skill and tech.
I can play these easily with my pick, but with fingers it´s another world, altough I can play up to 4 notes per beat with nails ,I get tangled when try to go upwards
Picks sound awful on nylon strings.
Muito bom !
How are you suppose to copy this at that pace?
Check out my "picado demos" for slow tutorials.
you can use the setting on the screen and slow it to half speed
Hey man what brand is this guitar/Model? Could you tell me what is a good entry level flamenco guitar under 1200 USD. Please.
This is a Hermanos Conde FP17. Try Cordoba. I think you can order one from musicians friend website.
Thank you man!
Hey..Did you get a guitar?What kind?
Start with scales from guajiras de Lucia
Bro.i also tried that. Fingers do not walk rather pain like anything.
How many hours do you practice in one day??? That is inspiring!
what is that passage that starts at 2.05
Punta Umbria
Felicidades
Sounds like you don't need to practice...
Yes
Sounds like hes practiced a lot to me
bravo !
With three fingers it is easier ?
Not sure it's easier but it's more pleasure. It takes some getting used to only-
are you fucking kidding me .... I'm suppose to be able to play like that
stargate669 that was Commandment from the God!!!
You are inspiring. :)
bravo bel tocco ;)
why did you not play this slowly so we could learn?
Not everything is about you, he’s uploading HIS routine he’s not gonna go slower for you
how about a very super slow introduction to understand what and how you are playing....i understand this is an excersice..even if video is in englisn/spanish whatever..as long as i can understand what you do to the dot and work on doing that and getting some speed.thanks.

Why yngwie can't do picado?
Chief Primo because he’s not a flamenco or classical guitar player. Easy question to answer.
👍👍

You look like an ideot.
