just some food for thought.... if you dont have an 8k display, you cant see any difference between this video and your native resolution because your limited by that same native resolution...... secondly, the human eye only has about 6k resolution at best. this means that 8k resolution only provides better color blending in some areas of the picture but you literally cannot see anything else that 8k resolution provides.....js
Everything looks great except wet floors in Hogwarts. I would have scared to run on that floor. Rtx floors looks like my amatur Blender models. I also put reflections to anything :D But I'm starting to loose my hope against Ray Tracing. I think we will not reach to photorealism with it. It's like rainy weather engine thats all. We need some other tech. And already some Ai works in youtube looks much better than rtx.
rt enhances those w realistic lightings and reflections, overall photorealistic depends on other factors on the engine think major devs like crytek, codemasters, ubisoft, square enix can achieve that, problem is our pcs
I love raytracing, but in most games the implementation if so over the top. We want realistic lighting and reflections. That doesn't mean that every flat surface has to look like polished metal.
That's too many reflections for me. Running games in super high resultion also always shows their visual flaws more. (Like being too clinical for example)
First thing I thought of was GTA SA "HD" Modded, where everything looked wet and shiny as fuck just so they could call it "HD". Hopefully this is fixed soon.
I'm afraid I don't agree - a lot of the floors look WET. Which doesn't lend much to my imagination. I mean I don't see the fascination when things are over done.

Selections and indicators in this game spoil a lot of beauty. You have to create an opportunity to play without it. then this game will be like a Harry Potter movie.
Thank you ❤
Honestly, cannot even tell the difference. I played RTX 3060 - all max - no ray tracing (because that dipped FPS to less than 30) - DLSS balance with a decent 60FPS usually. I dunno if 4K is better lol, even on my upscaled display. Maybe, just maybe, with ray tracing it might look better but the costs to get one are significantly more, and the hit to performance is still massive! Not even sure where video games are headed with the state of graphics
This looks incredible
Enter the dining hall during Christmas… it’s magical
why is the floor so wet? like someone going to slip.
top de mais!
Ganhou um inscrito!
I played through the entire game on my 8086k/6800XT and was taken away by how beautiful this game is, just a shame there’s nothing to do ones you’ve got all the trophies I need an excuse to come back to this gem
EMPRESS made that possible
"It's you who interfered with us at BINGO!" 2:29
This looks terrible the ground looks soaking wet, it shouldn't reflect light like that.
Why does the 8k resolution in this video look more detailed than the 2k resolution on my screen? My monitor only supports 2k?
I have a 3070 and my shit lags when I go above high settings. I can't even have ray tracing on without getting brutal lag spikes. I'm very sad.
Man, this game is so beautiful, I got it on the Xbox Series X and even though the graphics are not as good as this, it is still great.
man those graphic creeps... i don't even see a difference for gods sake.
I see Myrtle not only flooded the bathroom, but the whole Hogwarts now!
When we will have something like ray tracing to audio? The souds doesn't match with the ambient eco
Ah man I love this game. On a high end pc it is truly a blessing.
Why do the voices sound like they are talking into a microphone sometimes and sometimes not?
I've got almost exact PC setups yet can't even get 4K consistent on 60fps for this game - does your reshade actually improve performance?
You did use dlss3? Should work fine
@@DigitalDreamsyt Unfortunately I don't have a screen that supports high refresh rate and have to use Vsync to avoid tearing so can't turn on Vsync and DLSS3 together. Vsync without DLSS3 this game can't run consistently on 60fps. Horrible game engine.
@@DontAsk-rn5xr you have a 40 series card and don't have a high refresh rate Gsnyc display yikes 😬
@@Bootyhole-bandit Obviously VRR TV and Monitors are pretty available but my gaming pc is hooked up to a laser projector and no consumer projectors on the market support 4K VRR yet.
@Retro Gen Thanks! I've finally figured it out. I just need to do it in nVidia control panel instead of in the games. They should've educate gamers better on this.
It looks ok. The biggest turn off in any game is anything popping up in the distance, and this doesn't seem to suffer (although there weren't many long distance shots in one direction to really judge with objects, you could see pop up lighting)
Fantastic - when you see this graphics you know why 8 GB of VRAM is not enough !!
Looks sick! having a 4090 must be EPIC! Nice Content Brother
Thanks man
Your lack of combat skills hurts my eyes too much to give you any kind of positive feedback on this lackluster graphics "update"
Thanks, that video is almost a year old tho lol
Hogwarts Castle: freshly mopped
Captures the dream of flying.✨
Native 8K is the dream
What a masterpiece of a game. Truly the highlight of gaming this year. God of War Ragnarok. Maybe Forbidden West... was that this year?
Hey Graphics game developers... Can't you see that those camera movements in all that games are wrong ?.. Why you don't make them, in the same way when you record even with a mobile phone, or srl cameras..?. Nobody takes those breaking angles filming when records walking..
just some food for thought.... if you dont have an 8k display, you cant see any difference between this video and your native resolution because your limited by that same native resolution...... secondly, the human eye only has about 6k resolution at best. this means that 8k resolution only provides better color blending in some areas of the picture but you literally cannot see anything else that 8k resolution provides.....js
this is how my ps2 experience felt like back then
Game looks awesome however I didn't know there was 8k available.........been working too much to keep up lately. Loved the video!!
This just proves that no matter how graphically impressive a game is, someone will always find a way to improve it 😅
Everything looks great except wet floors in Hogwarts. I would have scared to run on that floor. Rtx floors looks like my amatur Blender models. I also put reflections to anything :D
But I'm starting to loose my hope against Ray Tracing. I think we will not reach to photorealism with it. It's like rainy weather engine thats all. We need some other tech. And already some Ai works in youtube looks much better than rtx.
rt enhances those w realistic lightings and reflections, overall photorealistic depends on other factors on the engine
think major devs like crytek, codemasters, ubisoft, square enix can achieve that, problem is our pcs
I love raytracing, but in most games the implementation if so over the top. We want realistic lighting and reflections. That doesn't mean that every flat surface has to look like polished metal.
Is this coming out on gamecube??
Nice 8k 2d butterflies
They seem to clean the floors, bricks and stairs constantly to keep them wet like that, now thats realistic!
Looks great in 480p !
so u have an 8k monitor? or just a 4k one like me?
This was always a beautiful game, but my gripe is that the water looks like jelly. Wish they took notes from Sea of Thieves on that front.
RTX shouldn't be about unrealistic super-reflective surfaces but simple light bounces and shadows...
It does it all, and with few tweaks the reflections are much more realistic too
griffen door or sythignern or hufflepuff or Ravenclaw each look great.
Excluding a monitor, how much would a set up cost to have something look similar to this?
Ray tracing has a life of its own in this game
Hey look, all the black witches and wizards group together just like in regular school!
That's too many reflections for me.
Running games in super high resultion also always shows their visual flaws more. (Like being too clinical for example)
First thing I thought of was GTA SA "HD" Modded, where everything looked wet and shiny as fuck just so they could call it "HD".
Hopefully this is fixed soon.
damn what's your average fps? and is this with dlss2 or dlss3 only?
the house elves working hard on those floors
Wait, why are the reflections still screen space and not raytraced? With RT on, devs must not fallback to screen space.
I've got the ref at the end... great ;)
I'm afraid I don't agree - a lot of the floors look WET. Which doesn't lend much to my imagination.
I mean I don't see the fascination when things are over done.
Those house elves be moping hard bro!!! (btw can you upload a 21:9 aspect ratio ty)
