GRASPOP METAL MEETING 2014 takes place in festival park 'Stenehei' in Dessel over the weekend of Friday 27th to Sunday 29th June. With a lineup that spans several generations of heavy music, Graspop Metal Meeting is the devil's favourite playground. Sitting shoulder to shoulder, main stage 1 and main stage 2 will feature the top bands and household names in our GMM2014 lineup. The Marquee and the Metal Dome create a more intimate setting and we're also erecting an open air stage in the Metal Plaza where fresh metal talent can earn their GMM spurs. Three days of screaming guitars and wrist-fracturing drumbeats, who said that heaven on earth doesn't exist? All heavy metal, the whole mother****ing time: that's probably the best way to describe the premier metal festival of the Low Countries. For three days, thousands of metal fans commune in an atmosphere of friendship, understanding, tolerance and an unwavering love of heavy music. Of course, the cold beer, tons of side animation, signing sessions, the outdoor festival fair, the indoor metal market, the fun fair and the classic rock bar also contribute to the unique Graspop ambiance.

this was my first GMM , defininetly not my last! \m/
6th year in a row and I have to say it was one of the best years. The only fuck-up was that stupid-ass 'surprise' at the end of Sunday. They should've swapped that to saturday night and put Stahl Zeit as the surprise. That show was fucking brutal.
Personally I loved the surprise set from Diablo Radio
It was pretty epic and original! TONIGHT'S GONNA BE A GOOD NIGHT!
This was my first time gmm and this year is finally gonna be my second can't wait till tomorrow
First time GMM, definetly not last! Avenged Sevenfold and Black Sabbath blew my ears away! Looking forward for next year \m/

Black Eyed Peas? Seriously?
Diablo Boulevard filled up a gap in the line up as DJ's in Diablo Boulevard Radio. Black Eyed peas was the start of a mix and became Thunderstruck by ACDC. :)
Heard the first tones of the Black Eyed Peas and tonnes of people started to leave immediately
That was not the best choice, but after that, it was a good little special hour I enjoyed ....

If there are more "suprise acts" , please let it be better then "diablo radio" no disrespect to Diabolo Blvd. But diabolo radio? That was just a silly ending for a festival as good as GMM. Just keep the ending on the festival site for a headliner that produces a good atmosphere like sabaton or so.
what is a good replacement for megadeath that was available in such a short notice... ok black sabath could end it but that was much to early i think to ... it was a very good edition of hmm a lot of bands and atmosphere :)

Great festival, but the suprise act was a bad joke.^^ At first, I thought it was just a teaser for the actual band.
+Metalmeyer666 megadeath was planned to play. but they couldnt make it. so they made use of diablo. while iam pretty sure that some other bands were still present and if they were asked to do a finisher, im almost sure they would have dont it

I prefer 70's 80's when people were dressing colourful not like in these days. Everyone dress in black. I mean in rock/metal society.
Irritating mainstream presentator. Good bands. Shitty Diablo Radio. This year a weekend earlier because of Rock Werchter (mainstream festival). Show some balls. Had to cancel Hellfest because of this. GMM is home.
