watch Gabor amate talks as the way he presents the message is in itself detraumatising,he is relaxing and nurturing to listen to as its easier to hear the message.this is not a pleasant platform to hear talks
Its such a shame that ISPS conferences happen in this formal way with a person standing on a podium,I'm sorry but it makes it univiting to watch,would be much nicer if it was done less formally with maybe a person sitting down or in conversation more,questions and answers. Idk but this is not particularly pleasant to watch or engage with,also it would be nice of the speaker wasn't sniffing all the way through. Sorry I know this might seem like minor detail and a distraction from what is actually being presented but is feels less humanising in some way standing there on this podium with the American flag in the background. Also are there lots of survivors and survivors/practitioners at these conferences or is is just the "experts psychologists/psychiatrists"... It is not a pleasant talk to listen to,not relaxing
