The Jamaican government does not encourage local Jamaicans to set up businesses in the country and promotes foreign nationals instead which does not make sense. Why don’t they implement institutions that can teach entrepreneurial skills as well as include this in the school curriculum? if they don’t I can see Jamaicans ending up as cheap employees of foreign companies which amount to modern day slavery.

Amen . totally agree. I have a friend that own a auto parts store and the end of the day he travel with the petty cash pan to the bar . It is just a matter of time because he will not listen to anyone who is giving him good guidance.
