- After a few days in the Bardiya National Park I am back on my own in Nepal and run straight into a police checkpoint and got the officers confused with my lack of a front number plate on my electric motorcycle EVE. Am I even allowed to ride like this? Anyway, big day ahead, I changed my plans half way through and extended my drive quite extensively! Let’s hope I can find a charger on the way! Exciting!⚡️

Thanks guys 🤙🏼
brother my mobile number send you yes.
The time card is to check your speed. If you cover 20 miles before 23 min. They'll write you up for speeding.
Many people thought you wouldn't make it past Turkey. You showed them that it's possible. Of course, not everything is perfect, but there's always a way to charge Eve. I've been watching your videos since your Dominator and you're doing your thing. Stay true to yourself and keep having lots of fun and great experiences. Ignore the haters.
Awesome man, so good to have you on board 🙌🏼🤩
Hell yeah now that's a good comment! Those who say it can not be done,,should not interrupt those who are doing it! Everyone says things can't be done when hundreds of people start doing that very thing daily, every day, no matter what it is!

Thank you bro for showing our country all over
My pleasure ☺️
Nepal is truly beautiful ❤❤❤
I am glad that you consider lumbini to visit
Many motervloger and vloger didn't consider lumbini to visit and thank you for visiting nepal ❤❤
Yeah sure, will check it out in the next video 🤙🏼
It is not just Eves batteries , it is your attitude to the journey , your riding style , you are charging through this . . . . ..👍
What you are doing is a dream of so many of us! Watching your videos feels like we too are living those dreams! Respect brother and its a pleasure to have you in Nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵
Happy to be here ❤️
The car is a BYD Dolphin. Our range is around 340 Km with the 60.5 kW Battery. Love it. Good videoing again. Love that as well!
Fyi marc you were supposed to ride under 40km/hr speed limit after getting time card at 16:31 he was saying that you came too earlier than you were supposed to and you would be fined if you were nepalese citizen thats what the time card was for anyway loving your nepal series keep it up
Ohhhh so sorry 🫠
And he spoke to you in Hindi language.
Time card is for your safety aswell. Its really dangerous in this highway bcos of animals attack and robbery. So with time card they will know what time you supposed be at next check point and if you don't show up they might assume something went wrong and start searching for you.
We have average speed cameras, you can drive into the section and ride like the wind, but always remembering to stop in a layby before you get to the next camera and drink your coffee, good fun but perhaps not right.
@@MarcTravels 😂😂😂😂
I am very happy that you're so positive and you love to look at the positive side of things, you are cheerul, you enjoy things.
You're really a very nice person ❤ keep it up brother.
And thanks for showing that covering large distance with EV is possible.
Just keep ignoring all the negative comments. You are doing great and enjoying your life on your terms and that's all that matters. Love watching your videos, keep moving forward and discover the world Marc. Love from India.
Thank you so much!
Marc, never ever apologize or explain to those who don't understand. You do what you do and you do it well. Keep it up!
Thank you, I will
"Frickin goat, right there. You're welcome." I would buy a T-shirt with this.
Hahaha we saw a lot of wildlife tho in this one! Frickin rhino and a croc 🐊🤣
32:35 It feels like a video game where you next objective is to reach the charger and well it does sound like fun.
One of the keys to life is to find our own joy from other people who are experiencing joy in their own ways. Criticizing only shows one's lack of joy & their own jealousy about not pursuing the things that bring each of us joy. As always, I enjoy your videos 🦏 & seeing you find joy.
Watching your content, I got inspired to travel my country on a motorcycle. It's one of the things I want to do FOR SURE ❤ cheers mate!
Thank you and all the best for your travels 🙌🏼
Also, i love your content. Its the best amongst the moto travel vlogs i have seen so far.
Glad you enjoy it!☺️
Keep doing what you love Marc. You have inspired me to get a bike and start riding again.
Glad to hear it!🤩 enjoy
Every day a new place a new adventure that's the dream life...
Thanks for coming to Nepal enjoy your trip brother have fun...
Interesting journey today Marcus! I had no idea about the wildlife in Nepal. Crocodiles to tigers and rino! Wow! 😋😋😁😁
Yeah me neither, it’s great right?!
The long ride trip and beautiful experiences
It really is!
Watching your Channel gave me the confidence to take my little electric car much further than I dared before, so thank you Marc. I love your adventurous spirit 😊
Marc. At 12 minutes BYD, it has a 60KW battery and with full charge it has a 427 km range. It has the latest LFP Blade battery liquid cooled. AC charging 10KW/hr. DC charging to full in 30 minutes. I have been driving one for 6 months and pretty impressed. Mark from Malta
Marc THE ambassador for electric motorbikes and especially Zero I hope they appreciate your independent efforts here. I run an SRF the same, brilliant machine...."just got to plug in the adaptor to activate another module" yep the bike will go round the world, charge problems goes with it. If you want to use the full 6kW single phase charging you better live in the USA where they have split phase L1 and L2 or the rest of the world you better find 3 phase OR you connect L1 to L2 yourself......the "adapter", here in a lot of people are unaware and end up charging for twice as long. Logic says wire L1 to L2 in a charge lead. Like you say its the challenge, it totally appeals but you have really knocked it out the park with 50,000km road trip
I didn’t know it until India🤪 zero sure as hell didn’t tell me about it but some awesome viewers of the channel did and I switched the phases and charge faster now, so cool ⚡️🙌🏼
@@MarcTravels Zero just like Tesla was in day one very US centric, its understandable "what the rest of the world does not do split phase?" Ive run a Tesla for 10 years it was like the wild west in charging 10 years ago but can not compare to you, feels the same again with EV bikes (Im on Zero number 3 in 6 years) broken 3 belts so far and yea a road of small stones (you know the once I means ) is death to the belts if I bust another Im going chain conversion but I will miss the quiet. Ride safe, stay the right way up!
@@slartybartfarst9737I run the belt much more loose than recommended, try it out…it’ll last forever! Specs from zero are way too tight. That’s why everybody snap them
@@MarcTravels Thank you Mark..... from you that is gold dust! I use the Gates app on the phone picks up the note of a correct belt but from now on ill err on the slack side. Its alignment that kills them too but its easy no lazers needed. With the wheel adjusters just make it a 1mm gap between the belt and the guide to the left side on the rear sprocket, you can check all is good over many 1,000s of km just look and see check with the eye from then on you can see its 1mm + or - 0.5.
I am pretty sure that if a Tiger was chasing me then I would have broken all time stamp records. Lol.
Thank you bro for visiting my country and my city (tulsipur)❤
You said it well. It is your journey. It is your diary. The couch potatoes will complain about anything and everything. Ride on Marc
20:11 ya!! You Never Know...... literally 😂😂
Be Safe Brother 😊
Will be
I suggest you to learn " This bike is from Germany" and also "where is car charger" in the language of which ever country you are visiting.😂
That I should do 🤙🏼
lots of loved💖
From Nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵🙏🙏
Cheers mate ❤️
Go on a hunt for charging station! was the best monologue ♥ ♥
Eve AND Marc are AWESOME, BRILLIANT!
Cheers mate ☺️
You could get a flex plate printed of your existing no and stuck in the front. That is all that is needed for bikes.
I could, but not if I don’t have to;)
thank you for exploring nepal⭐️
I love it
Mark Bro I gotta tell you something man….
You earned my 🫡 respect bro.. I have been watching you since you started and HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WITNESS a growing RUclipsr who will one day achieve millions of subs.. personally I have subbed you from EACH AND EVERY acc in my house… and for me YOU are the Person who INSPIRED me to dream of doing two wheeler trips… love you mate ❤❤❤

just watched 4 videos recently, it is so raw but gives entertain while watching. Watching you riding all 55000km by yourself. Really proud of you and you inspired me to do solo riding. Thank you brother and lots of love from Nepal. Eve is just awesome dude ;)
beautiful contrary Nepal ❤

@@MarcTravels awesome video like it❤️ thank you for visiting Nepal
Hi Marc on your dash you can change the display of trip A to trio B. Trip A is reset after a 100% full charge, whereas you must reset trio B manually.
Other option is to recharge up to 99% so it does not reach 100% and trip A is not automatically reset ;) hope it helps !
It’s okay, calimoto saves the full route and km 👍🏼
Marc you never complain anymore about riding in the dark. You just got used to it now. Good luck on your travels.
I too ride a Zero so I totally appreciate your journey between chargers - never boring.
Yes "Trip A" resets every time you reach your charge target, but "Trip B" has a manual reset - much better for longer trips.
Ride safe and keep the videos coming.
Thanks for the tips!
Can't wait for you to come to KTM . I think you should check out our Nepali EV bike yatri made in Nepal. Hope to see you meet you . Ride safe man. 😊😊
Sure 😊
16:39 he said you were too fast 😂
Yeah 🤪
time card is basically to limit the speed of the vehicle in order to not cause accident while the animals cross the road. Here, the check post official told, you reached too fast . you had to take at least 22-28 minutes for 14 km, and not before 22-28 minutes. For people reaching before the written time, they fine you. here, he let you go because you didn't understand the language. thank you. great.
Alrighty, gotcha. But I did go slow🤷🏼♂️
@@MarcTravels well not slow enough ig
One horn Rhino only found in Nepal. We call it Gaida in Nepal.
Oh really? That’s cool
@@SONG-vw1wc nope, kaziranga national park in India is famous for one horn rhinos, these species are found in Indian subcontinent, not just Nepal.
I watch to enjoy seeing your ongoing adventure, to see everything you want to share along the way 👍
Awesome 🤩
Great video Marc thank you Dave in 🇬🇧
Danke Marc! Ich hoffe, dass deine Reise gut geht. 🇳🇵❤
That forest ranger mentioned you were in early ( as per the time card ). Massive respect to the police and road crew to make the traffic streamlined.
Don't justify what you do man...its up to them if they want to watch yr content. Watched yr channel grow from the Honda days, 8k subs, now look.. 💪
Thanks for coming along ❤️
Glad ur going to tulsipur my aunt lives there love ur video Marc hope u have a safe journey ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks ❤️
You must put the numberplate in front . because any accident happens in the backside , your vehicle can be identified in CCTV
At least u can put stickers in the mud guard. It can be done for 100rs.
I might
Motorcycles in Europe do not have a front numberplate. The governments acknowledge that they serve no purpose. They also acknowledge that if a motorcycle hits a person and there is a metal plate on the front that it could cause serious injury, so no motorcycle in Europe has one fitted.
i leave just two house ahead from that palace hotel 😀enjoy your travel
That shot of the black rhyno was amazing! Keep up with great work and have a nice day!
That was so cool 🤩
Lots of love from Nepal 🎊
Tiger attacks and other animal-related accidents often occur. That's why it's important to be cautious. You should use large vehicles or drive between them, and drive slowly to ensure the safety of both yourself and the animals. A time card has been issued for this, and some guidelines may also be written on it.
Marc, keep doing it! I really enjoy your work and always a highlight of my day to catch your travels.
Absolutely fascinating Brother!
32:17 Marc... you do you. That's why we follow you.
Very interesting, like always!!! I love it!🥰
❤️❤️❤️
Special thanks dude for visiting our country
I love it when you use some of the old soundtrack, they’re part of the channel’s identity! I'm not advocating that you always do it, of course, but a dash of "old school" every now and then feels good. As for those who complain, don't take it personally... deep down they like it, otherwise they wouldn't see it and wouldn't bother to write. Keep up the good work, you were born to tell stories!
@@OldSkoolFauji Yes, I subscribed to the channel while Marcus was traveling around Portugal, in his Dominator! He still uses some of the songs from that time. The one used at the end of this episode is a classic, and announces the end of the episode even without looking at the time bar, it's like a nostalgic "goodbye and see you soon".
@@AGA039 Sweeeet!
Nice video 📹 watching from Kathmandu nepal. 🇳🇵
That guy on second check point was saying you did fast 💨
Some people hunt fish...you hunt charging stations 😅. Keep doing what you're doing, it's great.
Safe journey marc... Hope you one day make it to Sri Lanka. ❤
Maybe one day!
Google shows several hits of Energica being in Kathmandu, unfortunately I didn't see anything recently. I look forward to seeing if they're maintaining a presence there.
True words Marc , that’s what you love you don’t care about what people think !!!! I do the same 😉
Yes👌🏼
May the best of everything be with you, president👍
Thanks mate
Oki 👌☕
I definitely get the appeal of "being in different places constantly" and on an EV in these countries where there's definitely less infrastructure adds an element of adventure to the trip. Screw the haters. I like your videos and it's interesting to see parts of the world I'll never see. Keep it up eh!
What a amazing video love it ❤ love from India 🇮🇳 hope you will visit one day in our beautiful state assam india its a very beautiful and very beautiful mountains, greenery..
Exploring is the coolest thing ever for me as well. I have a boat and am always looking for new places to explore with it. Just like on my motorcycle. I don't ever use my boat for fishing. Only exploring! So much more exciting than sitting drinking beer for sure!
Sounds great!
Charging is the reality of EVs.
True
Didn't knew you were in nepalgunj
Just saw your vlog
Travel safe man it's rainy season roads are not quite safe these days

I find charging clips much interesting dude
Good to hear, me too
You crossed from my home town but you cut the part by the way thanks from coming tulsipur ❤ marc

I enjoy every second of your videos, so just keep doing what you’re doing and never look back to such negative comments, in auto racing world they have a say where when you start looking in the mirror for the ones behind you then they will always get you, so never look back and step on it and let’s ❤Eve❤️ fly away
Thanks you for visiting nepal
Immer Sonntags fahre ich mit....✌
You were supposed cover the distance between 23-28 minutes. Not too fast, nor too slow. So 14km to cover @ around 28/35KMPH. The guard at the other side said “ you were too fast”. Anyways travel safe. Thank you for visiting Nepal
i wish i was in lumbini but i m not, i would welcome you as i am from there ❤❤
Viewer are not "haters" because they make cynical comments about "Eve's hunt for Ready Kilowatt", they are doubters. I personally enjoy your quest for the elusive charger, and admire your persistence and patience. I don't have tenacity to do either, I'll stick to fossil fuels.
I love the hunt 🤩
Love u Marc lots of love from Nepal 🇳🇵 ❤❤❤❤
Cheers 🤙🏼
16:32 he means to say you are very fast
Electricity is very cheap in Nepal. If you charge on NEA charging stations, the cost ranges from Rs4 to 8 per kWh. That hotel overcharged you.
Yeah it will happen more often

Hi Marc, i have been following you for a while now, and what you're doing on an EV is truly inspiring! A close friend of mine is planning a mega biking event and i recommended your name as one of the select few speakers he plans to engage for the event to inspire fellow bikers. This event is in the UAE in November. Would you be interested? Please do let me know and we can discuss further. Cheers mate, keep going!!
Sure thing! Send me a mail to info@marctravels.com looking forward 🤙🏼
My mahn travelled and explored more INDIA than any Indian has ever and now Nepal. Awesome going brother !
Guess: The place where you had that 108 km/hr peak speed is just 10km before that drone footage of that beautiful bridge over that river. Is it?
The surest way to make something awful is to try and please everybody. Besides, i enjoy it when you're in the comments telling someone you dgaf and to go away 😆
