Referencing the first story. I worked at a theme park here in Europe last a year. When me and my older co-worker took our break, we sat outside because the weather was so nice and warm. As we noticed a guest climbing over the bars into the restricted area to, also, search for his lost phone. My co-worker, who btw was also my boss, jumped out of his chair and immediately commanded him to go back. Really, people don't understand in what danger they bring the self's
No, people are just impatient when it comes to their phones life. 🙄 they believe it's a living thing that needs rescuing but lose their life in return for their impatient and stupidity
I was like 25 feet away from the raptor when that man got hit that day. It took work for him to jump that fence, blaming the fence is ridiculous and he should have waited until the end of the day to get his phone like everyone else.
I think sometimes people just don't think straight in a hit of the moment... Similar accident happened in Poland few years ago, but it was the staff member (!) who jumped for the customer's phone, thinking they will make it before the train will come... They didn't make it ofc :(
Plus he’s a grown man. Not to be harsh but if the staff won’t even do it until a certain time you don’t need to be jumping a fence. It’s not at all on them.
The first one was not the parks fault. Regardless how tall a fence is or how many warnings are on the fence, if someone is wanting something bad enough they will not care about a fence, signs, or how dangerous because the person thinks that they can do it and not get hurt. Not worth risking your life. You can always get another phone, cancel credit cards, get new DL, if you have cash then you might loose that, but not your life. Also, everything would more than likely be accounted for once the staff would have been able to get it. Don't risk your life for material things. So sad.
No matter what, YOU DO NOT ENTER ANY AREA THAT SAYS “DO NOT ENTER.” In this case, the park done nothing wrong. This customer was WRONG for violating the govern rules. When the signs says do not enter, THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THEY MEAN! Condolences to the man’s family😔❤️

I think most 6 y.o. would be scared to ride that ride, but no way would I ever let my child ride any ride without checking that they were significantly restrained.
I totally agree. Here in the UK they height restrictions as I’m sure some do there. I don’t know the height of the child but going by her age I don’t think she would be that tall. Surely only adults should of ridden this ride
This is so true. I was really young when my parents took my brothers and I to Disneyworld Paris, and in the tower free fall thing (I forgot the name I just remember the ghosts were terrifying) my dad had to physically hold me down on my seat because with every free fall I would fly a little higher. Genuinely scared little me shitless and I'm sure my dad too. I can still remember lifting so far off my seat my dad had to hold onto my arm tightly. I didn't understand the true dangers of that until a few years back. I could've easily been in one of these videos and it terrifies me to this day
Back in 1997 I was at knoxberry Farms and the coaster I was on my belt broke loose and my life was almost lost but thankfully someone next to me held on to me until the ride stopped it was heart pounding and really scary!!!

This guy took his own, life, by being careless the park official was telling him to wait until the roller coaster was shut off then he could have retrieved his phone and wallet later,then he'd still be alive.
Agreed. I'm from Ohio, and we go to Cedar Point nearly every summer. It's always been very safe and tends to have the rides constantly checked for safety. Nothing here was wrong by them, but I remember this being talked about for a long time after. I guess no one was there to stop him in his family and remind him of common sense. It's so very sad, but it was his choice and is his responsibility in the end
Ok so this is the fault of the rider that decided he didn’t want to wait until the end of the day to get his belonging which he should have had in the first place. There was no mechanical issues or human error on the park’s side. I am very sorry that the rider had to die and my heart does go out to his family for their loss! I will not negate that but the safety rules are in place for a reason, not to inconvenience anyone , it to potentially save your from injury or worse. Let’s all use our heads wisely and we can all continue to have a safe and wonderful time
Gotta love how after someone jumps the fence and dies, the solution is like "Well... you should have made the fence taller!" If a person uses mountain climbing gear and scales the fence that way, I'm sure the answer would be "You need to make the fence taller!"
The story of the little girl on the mine drop ride is beyond words as all of them are. The staff and park are of course at fault - however - what responsible adult does not turn around and ensure the child's safety equipment is fully in place. That person I am afraid is equally guilty in that horrid affair.
The staff were screwed by the park as well, they had limited training (because of the park). What would you do when you need to make rent, and your company is treating you like you know what you need to do?
It was the late 70s, my sister and I were on the roller coaster in Vancouver when the second hill our safety bar flew open. We were so scared the person in front tried to keep the bar closed, we were on the last seat 😢. Thank god we made it
I remember the raptor incident so well. I was at cedar point a little while after when they reopened raptor, and that’s all anyone was talking about while there. I rode raptor that day, it’s one of my favorite rides there, but there was no line because of all the rumors and misconceptions about why he died. I can confirm, the fences are still the same as they were before the accident. Worst yet, raptor has bins on the platform to put loose articles in. I never ride it with anything in my pockets and the ride operators literally tell you to put all loose articles in the bins. It is very tragic that someone lost their life, but it was 100% the man’s fault he died. Don’t ignore warnings
I once had a problem getting my seat restraint on the Mantis to properly lock in place. Had I not screamed loudly for help, I would most likely have died. It was a very terrifying moment. I haven't been back to Cedar Point since.
What did the dad want for the fence to be electric? Whether or not the fence was a bit higher or not that guy would've tried to climb it to get his stuff back. This was soley the fault of James Young and not the parks
I live an hour away from cedar point so usually get season passes. It's EXTREMELY rare for there to be an accident at cedar point because they have always made it a point to be safe or they wouldn't hold the distinction of being the best. A couple years ago Top thrill dragster had a part fall off and it hit someone so they closed it for good and put a new coaster in. THAT was cedar points fault. It was a bummer because it reached speeds of 120 mph. Cedar Point is so old in was my father's stomping grounds growing up and he was born in 1946! Whatever the case, someone will always find a way to go over safety barriers so James Young's accident was not their fault in any way. Adults need to be responsible for their own actions instead of everyone being punished. Many of these parks have horrifying safety standards so I would thoroughly research a parks safety records before planning a trip
Its was a small L shaped bracket that was meant to magnetically tell the system to trigger breaking upon entering back into the terminal at the end of the ride that sheered off and flew right into the waiting line for Top Thrill Dragtster... consequently hitting a lady in the back of the head causing serious brain damage for the rest of her life..
That little girl should never have been on that ride…period! Poor baby, 6 years of life. The person in charge should know not to take a 6 yr old on that ride!
How can they not look and make sure she was secured , even if by glance? Nobody loves your child or family like you do so why put her life and safety in the trust of strangers? This is what happens when you do that. She didn’t mean anything to them. She was failed twice that day. 1 by the park 2 by whoever was responsible for her on that ride 😢 she stood no chance. 99% the parks fault 1% family fault
the fact that the Raptor incident happened in 2015 blows my mind… it feels like it was yesterday that my mom called me to tell me about that… still shatters my heart and makes my stomach drop.
I think this is going to be an unpopular opinion but blaming the staff at the mine drop who themselves a victim to the owners seem unfair. This what happens when you cut costs, ignore legal requirements, and generally just make money the main focus.

1st story= James Young only has himself to blame. Your not meant to have your phone or wallet on you because they will fall out. Good choice! I almost died on a fair ride as a kid. The ride started when a pin fell out of the motor; we weren't strapped in yet. Luckily I am a loud mouth and upon hearing me scream that we weren't strapped in, someone literally jumped into action and stopped the ride.
I’ve been on the Haunted mine drop many many times, the seatbelts feel like car seat belts and it always feels like you have about 4 inches before they catch you. Rip that little girl
Ok this Haunted Mine Shaft ride could have been a winner in both thrills and intensity. But this girl died senselessly. She wasn’t even wearing the seat belt?? I don’t want to blame the victim because she was a child and didn’t know any better but why didn’t anyone notice? Her family members? And the incompetence of the ride operators not even checking that riders were wearing the restraints and even ignoring the alerts? I don’t buy that they didn’t know what it meant. This is a tragic situation where common sense was lacking and as a result the worst possible outcome occurred. Its horrible and appalling!
I'm 100% with you on that one. I personally think that the child was too young to go on that ride. I never let my young children on those rides ever! It's common sense which unfortunately some people lack!!!
It happens more often then we know, when people don't follow the rules and go into areas where they shouldn't to retrieve personal items. Please remember a phone can be replaced, a life cannot be.
It’s sad. I was at great adventure in NJ for my sweet 16 with all my friends and I went on the batman ride (my first not only coaster but dangly feat coaster) and all I remember is not being buckled in and seeing the thumbs up and I freaked out. No I was never buckled and yes the shoulder strings held me in. I’ve barely gone on a ride since. The only other ride was Superman. Same park and we got stuck laying like Superman for 45 minutes lol. All same day. Happy sweet 16!
The fact the family of the little girl got no justice, is absolutely sickening. Believe me, that manager could care less, his only concern is profit. He can be sued individually, under "Respondeat Superior" because his employee(s) ignored the green light and started the ride, because they claim no knowledge of how the ride works. Ignorant employees have no business in control of a dangerous weapon like that ride. This is heart breaking, to say the least.
That drop mine shaft ride looked shady in the first place! I can’t even imagine what it was like to look over and not see the little girl sitting beside you and looking down at her laying on the ground, omg
As tragic as it is, the first incident was born of stupidity. It takes very little common sense to minimise one's profile by getting on all fours if you are brainless enough to attempt it in the first place. I have no time for stupidity.
I loved riding raptor. That was a great coaster. Used to drive there from Michigan for my birthday. Millennium Force is great too. I was sad when they took out disaster transport
I would have , and always have , in the past, checked my children’s restraints to make sure all was okay before takeoff. Wish the little girls family had done as much also 😢because NOBODY loves your family as much as you do. Never trust anyone to have done their job and the right thing and always double check their work to make sure children are secure.. The park employees failed miserably that day yes but everyone failed that baby to be honest 😢
My sister and I were on a spinning carnival ride that started before we were strapped in. I screamed that we weren't strapped in. A carny (sp?) operating the ride next to the one we were on hopped a small fence and stopped the ride. I was 7 or so. I knew I wasn't strapped in and safe. I'm sorry for the little girl who didn't have the self-preservation I did or a loud mouth sibling with self-preservation instincts. Shame on her relatives for not making sure she was safe.
In my opinion there shouldn’t be any kind of ability to override a warning sign that prevents the rides to operate, even if you think it to be a false alarm (which would mean the safety measures are malfunctioning)
A child losing their life is never easy that was hard to hear it broke my heart. No one was held responsible for that beautiful baby’s girl life and it’s sickening. Rest in peace baby.

Omg I have said the same thing!!! Nobody loves your kid or family as much as you do so why not make sure that some stranger did the right thing. Some stranger who has no connection to her at all. How could nobody see she wasn’t fastened in? Because nobody checked 😢. I know at the very least I would had performed a visual check and if most people were honest with themselves, they would probably say the same. They’d glance over at the least. Maybe it happened because this was an uncle instead of parent . Don’t get me wrong the park is 99% to blame but if we were to be honest there’s that 1% blame on the adult who was re for her at the time, in addition to the park workers. I just hate she had to die because of neglect 😢

I remember at 6 flags over Georgia a church group was there and aboy lost his cap and the operators told him to forget about it untill closing. He and a friend went outside the park and he climbed two fences to get his cap. He was killed. Also on th Dea ja vue ride a worker was killed when he crossed the track as the train came through the station at about 50 mph or so. It also broke a girls legs as I think it was. Accidents that could and should have been avoided.
Well I have heard that the Top Thrill Dragster has problems… Sometimes, the cart doesn’t even make it over the hump and goes hurling backwards I have no clue why

As a coaster enthusiast this is painful to watch. Ride disaster is VERY rare and your more likely to get injured on the way to the park than on a ride. Ride safety is every parks top priority. The narrator of this video is making it more dramatic than it really is. Also, some of these weren’t even the parks fault. Roller coasters are very safe 🤦♂️

Those fences are tall. It was his fault and only his fault. Them signs are there for a reason. It's not so they can retrieve your items and take them. If you don't have the patience to wait empty your pockets before riding. He should have never climbed fence even if he found his property.

I cannot believe they never added shoulder, harnesses and seatbelts along with it not just a seatbelt shouldn’t have had people that didn’t know what a damn warning signal meant. If they didn’t, they should’ve automatically stopped the ride, but as usual these kids they hire think keep the ride going. Keep the ride going or they’ll get upset yeah well because of your negligence that beautiful little girl didn’t get to live her life to the fullest.

So I went to sfne once and superman the ride has 2 trains, one broken but maintenance was working on the train while the other train was running on the track. Then once the train hits the brake run, they still worked for like 5 minutes then sent that empty train around and repeated. Was that breaking that law brought up in this video?
RE: the park saying they would not change the fencing -- there was a similar accident at a suspended coaster on Morey's Pier in Wildwood NJ in 1995. In that case a worker was picking up trash in the area beneath the coaster. He was struck by a rider's foot and killed. It was a restricted area ("kill zone") that nobody was supposed to enter - but he did. In response to that, a system was put in place that would not allow anyone to enter the area beneath the coaster without unlocking a gate. The key that unlocks the gate would also disable the coaster. They did this on other rides with kill zones. The technology exists.

Every since I was a kid, there’s always been some kind of roller coaster or scary ride. I am 70 years old now. I’m glad I’ve lived this long. My mom will not allow me to ride rides like that until I got older my heart goes out for that poor little girl in Colorado, what a terrible thing to happen they should’ve been sued for that and they should’ve never been able to allow to re-open that ride again. I think it should stay close forever. I think they should eliminate rides and put high limits and speed limit on these runs and make sure everyone is securely seat belt it. The guy in the park that was in a restricted area should’ve never been in air. That’s his own damn fault he should’ve asked for help these are terrible stories. My heart goes out to the love ones that have lost their family members. I only hope and pray this doesn’t happen to children anymore. A lover of roller coasters, but also a cell phone addict and they both kill him! Being dropped into a dark hole doesn't sound smart or fun! You do not go into the restricted area look up about six flags Kentucky Kingdom. There was a boy who jumped the gate to get his hat of all things, and sure enough decapitated him. There was another incident and another six flags on the Batman ride you don’t go into the restricted area why do you think they have big white signs with a red letters that say do not enter danger the stupidity of people and bad decision making is what always always makes these accidents happen.
Communication is very important for staff in these amusement parks. I think it's just so irresponsible for this man's life to have ended like that. Is ppl in these settings that laid back wow I don't understand.

sorry to say some of the lego land footage is wrong! at 17:23 that footage is from castles and coasters in Phoenix, Az! I know this because one of the rescuers is my cousin's late husband. If she were to see this her heart would be broken because he died soon after this. Please make sure you get all the details about footage that you use in the future.

The story of the little girl on the mine drop ride is beyond words as all of them are. The staff and park are of course at fault - however - what responsible adult does not turn around and ensure the child's safety equipment is fully in place. That person I am afraid is equally guilty in that horrid affair.

The staff were screwed by the park as well, they had limited training (because of the park). What would you do when you need to make rent, and your company is treating you like you know what you need to do?

When I was a kid (and still now!) I would be so worried my restraint wasn't on properly and always asked someone to check.
It was the late 70s, my sister and I were on the roller coaster in Vancouver when the second hill our safety bar flew open. We were so scared the person in front tried to keep the bar closed, we were on the last seat 😢. Thank god we made it

I remember the raptor incident so well. I was at cedar point a little while after when they reopened raptor, and that’s all anyone was talking about while there. I rode raptor that day, it’s one of my favorite rides there, but there was no line because of all the rumors and misconceptions about why he died. I can confirm, the fences are still the same as they were before the accident. Worst yet, raptor has bins on the platform to put loose articles in. I never ride it with anything in my pockets and the ride operators literally tell you to put all loose articles in the bins. It is very tragic that someone lost their life, but it was 100% the man’s fault he died. Don’t ignore warnings

I once had a problem getting my seat restraint on the Mantis to properly lock in place. Had I not screamed loudly for help, I would most likely have died. It was a very terrifying moment. I haven't been back to Cedar Point since.
I had to hold my lap bar down once...I was lucky.

What did the dad want for the fence to be electric? Whether or not the fence was a bit higher or not that guy would've tried to climb it to get his stuff back. This was soley the fault of James Young and not the parks

I live an hour away from cedar point so usually get season passes. It's EXTREMELY rare for there to be an accident at cedar point because they have always made it a point to be safe or they wouldn't hold the distinction of being the best. A couple years ago Top thrill dragster had a part fall off and it hit someone so they closed it for good and put a new coaster in. THAT was cedar points fault. It was a bummer because it reached speeds of 120 mph. Cedar Point is so old in was my father's stomping grounds growing up and he was born in 1946! Whatever the case, someone will always find a way to go over safety barriers so James Young's accident was not their fault in any way. Adults need to be responsible for their own actions instead of everyone being punished. Many of these parks have horrifying safety standards so I would thoroughly research a parks safety records before planning a trip
Its was a small L shaped bracket that was meant to magnetically tell the system to trigger breaking upon entering back into the terminal at the end of the ride that sheered off and flew right into the waiting line for Top Thrill Dragtster... consequently hitting a lady in the back of the head causing serious brain damage for the rest of her life..
That little girl should never have been on that ride…period! Poor baby, 6 years of life. The person in charge should know not to take a 6 yr old on that ride!
How can they not look and make sure she was secured , even if by glance? Nobody loves your child or family like you do so why put her life and safety in the trust of strangers? This is what happens when you do that. She didn’t mean anything to them. She was failed twice that day. 1 by the park 2 by whoever was responsible for her on that ride 😢 she stood no chance. 99% the parks fault 1% family fault
the fact that the Raptor incident happened in 2015 blows my mind… it feels like it was yesterday that my mom called me to tell me about that… still shatters my heart and makes my stomach drop.

I think this is going to be an unpopular opinion but blaming the staff at the mine drop who themselves a victim to the owners seem unfair. This what happens when you cut costs, ignore legal requirements, and generally just make money the main focus.

1st story= James Young only has himself to blame. Your not meant to have your phone or wallet on you because they will fall out. Plus he climbed over the fence to retrieve his item's, he should of known better.
3rd story= all kids shouldn't be aloud to go on this ride , if you only have a belt going across your lap. The ride operator should of checked every single belt , even if they have them on before the ride starts

Good choice! I almost died on a fair ride as a kid. The ride started when a pin fell out of the motor; we weren't strapped in yet. Luckily I am a loud mouth and upon hearing me scream that we weren't strapped in, someone literally jumped into action and stopped the ride.
Parks could put additional safety measures in effect, but if visitors/riders do not use them what good are they??
I’ve been on the Haunted mine drop many many times, the seatbelts feel like car seat belts and it always feels like you have about 4 inches before they catch you. Rip that little girl
The rides have come along way as far as safety goes. It's a pity the human factor hasn't.
Ok this Haunted Mine Shaft ride could have been a winner in both thrills and intensity. But this girl died senselessly. She wasn’t even wearing the seat belt?? I don’t want to blame the victim because she was a child and didn’t know any better but why didn’t anyone notice? Her family members? And the incompetence of the ride operators not even checking that riders were wearing the restraints and even ignoring the alerts? I don’t buy that they didn’t know what it meant. This is a tragic situation where common sense was lacking and as a result the worst possible outcome occurred. Its horrible and appalling!
I'm 100% with you on that one. I personally think that the child was too young to go on that ride. I never let my young children on those rides ever! It's common sense which unfortunately some people lack!!!

It happens more often then we know, when people don't follow the rules and go into areas where they shouldn't to retrieve personal items. Please remember a phone can be replaced, a life cannot be.
It’s sad. I was at great adventure in NJ for my sweet 16 with all my friends and I went on the batman ride (my first not only coaster but dangly feat coaster) and all I remember is not being buckled in and seeing the thumbs up and I freaked out. No I was never buckled and yes the shoulder strings held me in. I’ve barely gone on a ride since. The only other ride was Superman. Same park and we got stuck laying like Superman for 45 minutes lol. All same day. Happy sweet 16!

The fact the family of the little girl got no justice, is absolutely sickening. Believe me, that manager could care less, his only concern is profit. He can be sued individually, under "Respondeat Superior" because his employee(s) ignored the green light and started the ride, because they claim no knowledge of how the ride works. Ignorant employees have no business in control of a dangerous weapon like that ride. This is heart breaking, to say the least.
That drop mine shaft ride looked shady in the first place! I can’t even imagine what it was like to look over and not see the little girl sitting beside you and looking down at her laying on the ground, omg

As tragic as it is, the first incident was born of stupidity. It takes very little common sense to minimise one's profile by getting on all fours if you are brainless enough to attempt it in the first place. I have no time for stupidity.
I loved riding raptor. That was a great coaster. Used to drive there from Michigan for my birthday. Millennium Force is great too. I was sad when they took out disaster transport

I would have , and always have , in the past, checked my children’s restraints to make sure all was okay before takeoff. Wish the little girls family had done as much also 😢because NOBODY loves your family as much as you do. Never trust anyone to have done their job and the right thing and always double check their work to make sure children are secure.. The park employees failed miserably that day yes but everyone failed that baby to be honest 😢
My sister and I were on a spinning carnival ride that started before we were strapped in. I screamed that we weren't strapped in. A carny (sp?) operating the ride next to the one we were on hopped a small fence and stopped the ride. I was 7 or so. I knew I wasn't strapped in and safe. I'm sorry for the little girl who didn't have the self-preservation I did or a loud mouth sibling with self-preservation instincts. Shame on her relatives for not making sure she was safe.
In my opinion there shouldn’t be any kind of ability to override a warning sign that prevents the rides to operate, even if you think it to be a false alarm (which would mean the safety measures are malfunctioning)
It seems like it should have to be turned off at the site of the problem instead of at the controls.
Also, an automatic shut off could be installed in this day and age!!
A child losing their life is never easy that was hard to hear it broke my heart. No one was held responsible for that beautiful baby’s girl life and it’s sickening. Rest in peace baby.
I guess they should have put on the sign, “If you enter, you will die.” to spell it out for all those foolish people out there. This was tragic but no fault of Cedar Point. I must be getting old, but that Raptor looks way too scary!

Omg I have said the same thing!!! Nobody loves your kid or family as much as you do so why not make sure that some stranger did the right thing. Some stranger who has no connection to her at all. How could nobody see she wasn’t fastened in? Because nobody checked 😢. I know at the very least I would had performed a visual check and if most people were honest with themselves, they would probably say the same. They’d glance over at the least. Maybe it happened because this was an uncle instead of parent . Don’t get me wrong the park is 99% to blame but if we were to be honest there’s that 1% blame on the adult who was re for her at the time, in addition to the park workers. I just hate she had to die because of neglect 😢
Man.. It's been 15 years since I've been on a roller-coaster, yet I live half an hour away from Six Flags of Arlington. I need to fix this evil 'fasting'. Risk or no risk, I miss amusement parks, but no one I know is into them. Blah. So i dont know if the narrator is a bot or a real person but that voice is so chill I woke up with a headache and this is the first video that didn't make it worse.
I remember at 6 flags over Georgia a church group was there and aboy lost his cap and the operators told him to forget about it untill closing. He and a friend went outside the park and he climbed two fences to get his cap. He was killed. Also on th Dea ja vue ride a worker was killed when he crossed the track as the train came through the station at about 50 mph or so. It also broke a girls legs as I think it was. Accidents that could and should have been avoided.

As a coaster enthusiast this is painful to watch. Ride disaster is VERY rare and your more likely to get injured on the way to the park than on a ride. Ride safety is every parks top priority. The narrator of this video is making it more dramatic than it really is. Also, some of these weren’t even the parks fault. Roller coasters are very safe 🤦♂️

I agree completely about the fence. But why do they build these rides so low to the ground that makes them a potential danger of hitting someone under it.
Those fences are tall. It was his fault and only his fault. Them signs are there for a reason. It's not so they can retrieve your items and take them. If you don't have the patience to wait empty your pockets before riding. He should have never climbed fence even if he found his property.
This is why I make sure I have zipped pockets or I leave them behind, so tragic :(

The story about the mind drop that ride is such a bad idea. I cannot believe they never added shoulder, harnesses and seatbelts along with it not just a seatbelt shouldn’t have had people that didn’t know what a damn warning signal meant. If they didn’t, they should’ve automatically stopped the ride, but as usual these kids they hire think keep the ride going. Keep the ride going or they’ll get upset yeah well because of your negligence that beautiful little girl didn’t get to live her life to the fullest.

So I went to sfne once and superman the ride has 2 trains, one broken but maintenance was working on the train while the other train was running on the track. Then once the train hits the brake run, they still worked for like 5 minutes then sent that empty train around and repeated.
Was that breaking that law brought up in this video?
RE: the park saying they would not change the fencing -- there was a similar accident at a suspended coaster on Morey's Pier in Wildwood NJ in 1995. In that case a worker was picking up trash in the area beneath the coaster. He was struck by a rider's foot and killed. It was a restricted area ("kill zone") that nobody was supposed to enter - but he did. In response to that, a system was put in place that would not allow anyone to enter the area beneath the coaster without unlocking a gate. The key that unlocks the gate would also disable the coaster. They did this on other rides with kill zones. The technology exists.
How about some personal responsibility. Let's try that for a change. The guy knew what he was doing was wrong!

Every since I was a kid, there’s always been some kind of roller coaster or scary ride. I am 70 years old now. I’m glad I’ve lived this long. My mom will not allow me to ride rides like that until I got older my heart goes out for that poor little girl in Colorado, what a terrible thing to happen they should’ve been sued for that and they should’ve never been able to allow to re-open that ride again. I think it should stay close forever. I think they should eliminate rides and put high limits and speed limit on these runs and make sure everyone is securely seat belt it. The guy in the park that was in a restricted area should’ve never been in air. That’s his own damn fault he should’ve asked for help these are terrible stories. My heart goes out to the love ones that have lost their family members. I only hope and pray this doesn’t happen to children anymore. A lover of roller coasters, but also a cell phone addict and they both kill him! Being dropped into a dark hole doesn't sound smart or fun! I'm confused as to my it's so important for the "adrenaline junkies" to put their life on the line for the possibility of a good time.

You do not go into the restricted area look up about six flags Kentucky Kingdom. There was a boy who jumped the gate to get his hat of all things, and sure enough decapitated him. There was another incident and another six flags on the Batman ride you don’t go into the restricted area why do you think they have big white signs with a red letters that say do not enter danger the stupidity of people and bad decision making is what always always makes these accidents happen.

sorry to say some of the lego land footage is wrong! at 17:23 that footage is from castles and coasters in Phoenix, Az! I know this because one of the rescuers is my cousin's late husband. If she were to see this her heart would be broken because he died soon after this. Please make sure you get all the details about footage that you use in the future.

The staff should ensure everyones seat belt is on properly & all riders are reminded of the rules before they start the ride.
