FYI....there's a small percentage of Golden and Labrador Retrievers that hate to swim. She may be one of them. Don't force her to stay in the water. She'll develop anxiety.

rather than having a go at them, educate them. Yes, they should have been a lot more gentle and held the dog in their arms but how are they meant to learn that if people only tell them it's wrong.
