What's stranger is at the part they were getting controlled by some strings, Pearl was yelling Grian's name, maybe hinting that she was also taken as to how stubborn she is on leaving Grian(sounds like Abandonment Issues oof)
Oohh that's why Pearl's string are attached to Grian Maybe it's also like, the “puppeter is also a puppet” scenario where possessed Grian controls Pearl as well Edit: Also, only half of Pearl's eyes got turned, so she might be half possessed? My theory is that giran and xisuma were controled by the watchers pearl too but she regain control but pearl gaining control is not good for the watchers so they made her controlled/attached by grian? Now its really intresting seeing that pearl only has one hand attached and its holding onto grian and its also interesting how pearl scream grians name while her hands are stuck to the string that i think is when pearl was still with the watchers? Soon she broke free but she has one string left to break which is the string that is attached to grian???? Idk sorry if it doesn't make sense and alsooo at the very last we see pearl, grian and xisuma following the watchers we could see that there is only 2 BUT i think there was supposed to be 3? Pearl regain her control from the first string making the 3rd watcher powerless leaving it to die? Orrr pearl is just a back up watcher or maybe she was just holding onto grian seeing the third watcher dying after she regain control so she just let the last string and hold on to it so grian doesn't die??? but i also have another theory that pearl was never a watcher!! Grian made her a watcher ? Or maybe she was a watcher from evo? Alsooo i see that pearl and grian has the same halo but grian has it on his neck while pearl has it on top of her head so i think that grian was forced while pearl had to pick (judging from the watcher i think ik why peark chose to be a watcher than the other choice) but based on ur lore watcher can only take admins so maybe grian asked pearl thats why they had the same halo and ahoges.
