Some of the Hermits decided to go End raiding, but as soon as they went through the portal, Xisuma got a few concerning messages.
ZombieCleo left the game
iJevin left the game
Keralis1 left the game
FalseSymmetry left the game
So he collected all the other Hermits and they went in to see what happened. Turns out, some of Grian’s old friends had decided that the rogue Watcher had to be dealt with.
Xisuma told everyone to go back through the portal, while he, Grian and EX held back the Watchers. Some people refused, not wanting to leave their friends behind with the Watchers, but Xisuma either convinced them or Grian forced them through.
When it was just Grian, EX and Xisuma, Grian told them to leave him as well, and he’d destroy the portal behind them, so that the Watchers wouldn’t bother Hermitcraft again. Neither of them wanted to leave him alone though, and since they were Admins, there wasn’t a lot Grian could do about it.
They all got captured eventually, Grian quickly destroyed the portal, but still got thrown into a cell.
They'd be executed at midnight.
But the Hermits weren't just gonna wait around.
Slight issue, the portal was destroyed.
But someone had a trick up her sleeve. After EVO, Pearl got turned into a Watcher as well (NOT IN MY MAIN AU) and Grian had forced it down, so she couldn’t use any of her powers. I wonder what happened to that seal when the Watchers sealed his powers though…
As a half-goddess as well, Pearl was practically unstoppable. She opened a portal and all of the Hermits went through. Some of them got hurt pretty badly, but thanks to Pearl, aka Lady Luna, they all escaped, reclaiming what they had lost as well. The portal was destroyed once more, and was to be never opened again.
SMALL DETAILS! LESGO:
- They all have power-canceling bracelets, but Grian’s are a bit different, due to him being a fairly high-rank Watcher.
- Xisuma’s halo (Admin indicator basically) disappeared when he was wearing his bracelets. EX’s didn’t, because he’s partly Watcher as well.
- Wels was pretty ashamed that he had to be saved. As a knight, he feels like he’s supposed to be the one protecting people, yet his friends almost gave up their lives to save him (and the others but yk-)...
ONCE AGAIN: ACTING AU! PEARL ISN’T A WATCHER, EX ISN’T FRIENDS WITH ANY OF THE HERMITS (maybe he has a soft spot for Zedaph but who knows)

xsuma: figured they wouldn't listen yet do something like this
