yes because those lines he was on about mean DO NOT CROSS!!! they seperate the car pool lane from the rest of the hghway, which means that lane can be doing 70+ or whatever the speed limit is whilst the rest of the lanes are at a standstill. there are specific points to exit the carpool lane, so its not unsafe to filter on those lines at all as cars should not be crossing them until a designated point. that car exited illegally and endangered someone legally using the highway.
Explosive Cookie actually there isn't a defined speed limit for it but CHP advise you to not go much faster than speed of traffic. They can pull you over and give a ticket for reckless driving for going too fast while splitting

If you’re lane-splitting at high speeds then you don’t have any right to complain. It lands you right in blind spots and you’re going to fast for them to see you from that angle

5:41 good lesson for all the newer riders on here. Always stop to the side of the lane so people can see you in their side mirrors, especially if the have an obstructed rear widow like the van in the clip

For the first biker, it's illegal to lane split on a double yellow or white lines. He was switching from HOV to regular lane. Both drivers are in the wrong for changing lanes on double white.

Q: In America if someone pulls out onto the same road as you 3miles away do you still Beep and rev your engine? And or give them abuse when you have reduced your speed from 130mph too 50mph? On a 50mph road....
What about people who pull out onto essentially the same road in the next state? Does the same step by step procedure still happen? I'm just trying to understand the U.S Highway Code.

Anyone criticizing the motorcycle in the first clip for going too fast. 1) He can lane split in the carpool lane. 2) Double white/yellow line means you can't cross it. As a car driver I see this way too often and literally witnessed either cars or motorbikes slam on their brakes to avoid an accident, myself being included. Has nothing to do with speed in that case, but the idiots who are too impatient to find a broken line in the carpool lane.

Please please Cali riders lane splitting its only legal at 35-45 mph when traffic is jammed ones traffic picks up at 60-70 merge into your lane it gives you plenty of stopping time in case of an emergency manuever. Dont risk your life for so little and i do have to say that what makes lane splitting dangerous its others bikers been irresponsible going 65-80mph. Im a biker my self and i see it every day riders getting into unnecessary accidents. Please do it safely

READ THIS!! So many people are commenting saying we are looking to exaggerate and create problems just so we have something for moto madness to use. I can assure you that is NOT the case. What you probably don't understand is if I get in even a minor accident on my bike I'm going to get hurt. Maybe even killed. It's not the same as being in a car. We are aware of how vulnerable we are. That's why we tend to get so angry in situations that LOOK so minor. And we upload those vids to entertain YOU!!! So enjoy them! If you don't like this kind of stuff just find something else to watch!

Btw when traffic is stopped on a highway, why would you do like 40mph and take a chance that someone could want to move to another lane? The biker is wrong and if you think the other guy that moved over is in the wrong then you have to prove that he intentionally tried to stop/hurt you. Odds are bad. Dont take that chance. I understand getting scared by people on the road... but y'all seriously can't be popping out from behind cars at intersections and expecting someone who is merging into or crossing traffic to see you BEFORE you pop out. Like wat. Chill, they literally can't see you or anticipate how fast you will accelerate.

I have never seen soo many cry babies that make things worse than the original complaint. Just as an example. The last video of the biker complains that the lady is too close so what does he do? Slows his bike down and then gives her the finger. Then he flys like its over and does multiple brake tests on her when the orig complaint is that she is too close. Then he starts yelling at her all the while isnt watching the road. You made it unsafe for all the other people on the highway. Ok people if you think someone didnt see you or moved over while you were close or just got too close then chalk it up to someone didnt see you or just screwed up. Stop with the one finger wave,rev bomb,continous horn blowing etc and just LET IT GO. I just dont see how raging is going to make it better. Stay safe and enjoy riding......................peace
