    You do great videos Andy. Thank you. Your mix of old and new tools is what got my attention. A word about sandboxes. I've made a few. I always put 4 corner seats for the kids to sit out of the sand or the parent to play too. Covers the corner hardware also. Thanks for all you do.

    #wranglerRIGGS Fun project Andy. Are you going to add a lid to keep the critters from using it as a litter box? We made a 2x2 wood frame, hinged on one end and stretched Chicken wire over it. Works great.

    You may want to think about knocking off the edges and corners with a
    router or sander. (I don't like sharp 90 degree angles with kids at play.)

    • @AndyRawls
      @AndyRawls  7 лет назад +1

      +Yoann Grange thanks, I did build a top out of corrugated panels after I filmed the project. I didn't round over the edges, but I don't think is a bad idea. As for the bottom, I just poured the sand directly over the grass.

    Nice video dude, I'd reccomend putting a thick sheet of plastic or some other bottom to it to keep weeds from growing up through... happened all the time in my sandbox as I was growing up till we did that. #wranglerRIGGS

  • @larshansen5031

    If you have lots of neighbours, get a net to spread over the sand box when not in use or all the outdoor cats in the area are going to use it as a litter box. Cats like to pee in sand; they do not like nets.

    Beautiful work, my friend. Sorry if the comment is wrong, but I am concerned that the edges of the threaded rod protruding from the nuts could damage the fingers of your children. I suppose you have polished those tips, or maybe you can use nuts with closed heads? The comment is positive, I only say it in case you have not taken it into account and for the welfare of your children. My best regards, good and nice work!
