Winter golf can be tough what with muddy ground, the cold etc BUT it can also be so rewarding. Ergo I totally agree with you saying to get out there and play! Cheers
I love a nice winter round of golf, so these are some great pointers for me! Problem is i tend to hit fat a lot and fat on the mats just seems to go nowhere 😭
You could definitely do with getting a better mat than a piece of old artificial turf? My club has went to winter mats and you see this sort of thing out on the course where you’ve just hit that shot there into the green and the mat is moved about 2 yards in front of you. I use the spurk, it’s got anchors on the bottom and it just doesn’t move and it’s a great playing surface
