Emily , thank you for this video. I was born in Trinidad, but immigrated to the US after high school. That was over 46 years ago. So I really appreciate a Trinidad tour. I barely remember the food or the culture, but it didnt seem too third world. So they made a lot of progress since I left. I dont plan on going back, because I have already been there. However I am looking for a place to retire besides the US, because things are too expensive here. Sorry about the men harassing you. A lot of places in the world are a little behind as far as treating women with respect on the street. You are very brave. You go to a lot of places I won`t dare set foot in. And i`m a guy. LOL. Good luck with your tourning. thanks for bringing us the world.
I think you should go to see the place. It is nothing like it was 46 years ago. This goes for every country that I have been to. I have seen terrible places in New York and the Bronx where I would not live. It is sad that you feel this way. Trinidad is a very developed country. Sometimes people's background where they lived before they left leaves a bad impression of the place. There are very rich and poor areas like any other country.
