Fun fact :
- 10 years ago when they released this song, they had to borrow clothes from friend and teacher to be used as costume (Yui wrote on her diary titled BABYMETAL).
- In 2019 They are the first Asian act to be No#1 On Top Rock Albums in billboard (you can google). =))
And well earned I might add.
This is how it all started.....2010 they kill it......2021 they are still killing it. Everyone knows how important this song is...The girls know the band knows and of course the crowd knows...Everyone gives it 100%. I love this band.

'Doki Doki Morning' was the first song ever released by BabyMetal. It was recorded in 2010 and released in 2011. 'Doki Doki Morning' is historically significant as the first ever song of the Kawaii Metal genre. It is also wicked cool and a BabyMetal fan favorite in Japan.
最初はアイドルの波の中にいた小さなアイドルグループ「さくら学院」からそのまた小さな存在の企画の部活動という名目で作られたチームだったのにまさかこんなに大きくなっているとは驚きです。
さくら学院を応援していた私としては感極まって泣きそうです。日本ではメタルという存在はマイナーなのでBABYMETALには海外でこれからもどんどん大きくなって行って欲しいです。

コドモはものすごい勢いで成長する。ひとつの歴史を作り終えたところでコロナ禍が来た。次は何を仕掛けるのか、というのが見てる方の今の関心事だ。もっとも、やってる方は「もういいじゃん」と思ってるかもしれんが。
既に、BM⇒さくら学院というのが、定番コースでな。逆は今や完全な少数派だ。
さくら学院もコドモがやってたから見た目に騙されるが、曲の作りはclassical music教育を正規に受けたプロの大人が緻密に練り上げたもので、ドルオタ用にはできていない。手拍子入れる隙間なんかまずない曲ばかりだ(あれは編曲者が計算ずくで隙間作らねば入れられないんだが、ドルオタはたいてい気づかない)。それでもドルオタさんたちを狙ったのはそれが手堅いマーケットだからだ。そだててくれてありがとね。
さくら学院は、中元すず香という50年に一人の神童をまっすぐ育てるためのプロジェクトに必要だった。だからこその「学校」と「仲間」だった。孤独に苛まれて破滅しないまでも、不幸になる神童は多い。ゆぃ・もぁをリクルートしたのは中元だけではショーにならないからで、そのときに既にプロデューサの頭の中には3人体制ができていた。Perfumeもそうだが、アミューズは女子3人にこだわる。創業者が「元祖アイドル」Candiesの担当マネで、人気沸騰の挙げ句彼女たちの音楽エリート人生をぶち壊したことに呵責を感じていた。
十年一日の製品サイクルアイドル業者と違うのは、すべてはビッグビジネスが構想する大人の音楽プロジェクトの仕掛けとしてそこにあったということだ。まず才能ありき。さくら学院は役割を終えたからこその閉校だ。スーパーエリートの世界で「卒業」なんてシステムはない。むしろ集団の方をかき消して成長するからこそのスーパーエリートだ。
中元すず香は8歳のときに発見された。還暦過ぎても歌っているはずだ。これはドルオタ業者教育には不可能なことだ。

I remember when this song got popular in america and i thought the lead singers voice sounded great for the genre they sorta invented. As shes gotten older her voice is much better. Sounds amazing.
Su's voice is freaking awesome....
maybe this is an unpopular opinion but i really hope they get a permanent 3rd member eventually. i know no one could ever truly replace Yuimetal & Sumetal & Moametal are still great as they are, but i can't help but feel something's missing with the current dynamic.
or they could at the very least give one of the avengers a freaking mic once in a while. :/

With Momoko being brought on full time I’m really hoping we get more BM Black songs. I’d love to hear Song 4, GJ!, and Sis Anger be played again. I know Moa prefers to be on stage with another person.
Momoko is not a good a good replacement for Yui. Very different. BABYMETAL were a better group when they were 3 cute teens than they are now.
