Hi Peeps!! Anantharaman here. I finished my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and MSc in Physics after which I worked as a Data Analyst and Machine Learning engineer in Wipro. When I am not reviewing bad movies, this is what I do.

Can the same question have multiple answers? How did early humans understand math? What are irrational numbers and how do you prove heir irrationality? Why do kids struggle with algebra? What is so special about circles? Why does pi keep popping up in the most random places? What is the probability of getting exactly n heads and n tails in 2n coin tosses? What is Reimann rearrangement? How do we help kids who struggle with math? Why do we need to proofs in math and in life?

ഞാൻ ഇപ്പൊൾ 12 th ഇൽ പഠിക്കുന്നു . I'm a science student and always avarage in maths . ഈ quadratic equation ഒക്കെ കാണാപാഠം പഠിച്ചാണ് മനസിലാക്കിയത്. As a person with severe math anxiety, this was the first time i ever watched a video on maths with so much interest without experiencing a feeling of panic. Im an adult now but, my school turned me into a person who is scared to death to do even a simple math operation without a calculator. I wish i had a teacher like you in my school :). Great work. "Mathematics is the abstract key which turns the lock of the physical universe."❤
It is not the abstract key. If you believe otherwise, it reveals your ignorance, and you will likely end up in a loop.
@@AKHILCHANDRANBS27in what loop?😊
Maths was a tried and proven method which gained traction as humans steadily learned to relate to their surroundings it is now hardwired into how we perceive the universe
It is a key as in how it ameliorated our flawed perception of the universe.😊
Hi Anantharaman, I loved maths till 10th and got full marks. My hobby was to do the practice problems every now and then. But my 11th school teacher ruined me completely. Later on, my area of interest changed and currently i m a professor of development studies. Thank you for bringing back all the good memories and getting me in touch with the wonder called maths again. Why I loved maths is because it always has a certain solution, a proof, like u said towards the end. That gives validation and satisfaction 😊
Yes it's wonderful, but it also has a weird and dark side, that he didn't talk about..

9:00 lets say a mountain's height is x and it decreases by 3 feet every year , after 3 years its height should be x+(3×(-3))=x-9. Likewise its height before 3 years should x +((-3)×(-3)) , which is x+9. So negative times negative is always positive
Please pin this comment if it makes sense
@@tchallaakastarlord7461 Bro,you might be correct, but physical proofs are also wrong sometimes. Like in 38:57 the physical proofs are also wrong without a solid theoretical proof. But still the way you ended up in this proof is pretty much appreciatable. Here is a theoretical proof for ya ruclips.net/video/qe_PnidC9IE/видео.html
@@user-ne4ii7iw1i unlike the circles proof, this works on any real numbers as mountains height, its decreasing rate and how many years before or after it takes right?🤔
Can you please explain why is the second equation x+((-3)x(-3)) and not x+((-3)x 3) ?
Because height increases every year going backwards right so shouldn't it be positive 3?
I know the answer is x+9 but can't make sense of the equation though..

Let x and y be any two real numbers.
(-x)(-y)
=(-x)(-y)+x*0: since x*0=0
=(-x)(−y)+x(−y+y): since -y+y=0
= (-x) (-y) + x (-y) + xy
= (-y) (-x+x) + xy: -y being common factor
= (-y)*0+xy
= 0+xy
= xy
So (-x)×(-y)=xy
