Get Free Lavender Plants by Taking Cuttings - Easy Propagation

Spring flowering lavenders are best propagated from semi-hardwood cuttings taken from late Summer to Mid-Autumn.
The colder your climate is, the earlier you'll need to take your cuttings.
Lavender Avonview. This majestic plant features, aromatic, silvery green foliage and bright purple, butterfly blooms above dark blue flowers. An Italian variety, this plant prefers full sun to partial shade and is excellent in hot, dry areas. Plant a beautiful hedge, or pathway border or simply house it in your favourite pots and containers.

I pruned my potted lavender last week and propagated the cuttings. While at it, I did some rosemary too. I need one of them files for my secateurs too.
