True. It's sad that Pakistani policy since Zia-ul-Haq has been to preserve Saudi culture instead. Very sad! Younger generations of Pakistanis I have come across in Europe and the US cannot even speak Punjabi. In fact, they have been brainwashed to consider it inferior... I also found them to be ultra-Islamicized, too focussed on differences rather than similarities with Indians. They have lost their Punjabiyat.. which older Pakistani generation still has. I am an Indian Punjabi (Sikh), not from old generation. I am unable to identify with younger generation Pakistanis. But I love older generation Pakistanis. They're real Punjabis.
