I tried to charge it with type c 65 watt charger of my Realme 9proPlus but It was not charging. But When I switched off the lap top , It was charging with type c! Why?

the fingerprint reader has been disabled in many of these laptops because they were for business purposes & the company didn't want employees to personalize them with fingerprinting.
I have this problem too with my 840 g3, but it has a lot more problems than that so i will buy this one.

@@fantasysurvival8331 I bought one refurbished, had some problems but it all got fixed. Overall it is a Quick laptop (I have 16GB Ram) with a pretty nice keyboard and screen. Some g5's don't have the best accu so if you buy one check on that.

I just got one. It only has the i5-8250U instead of the i5-8359U, so the base CPU frequency is 100 mHz lower. On the other hand, mine has 16 gigabytes of RAM and the optional additional Radeon graphics system with its own RAM (only 2 gigabytes, but...). So I'm pretty happy about it. Oh, and mine was really, really inexpensive (but not, in my world) compared to yours. About the only things I'm not thrilled about are: the storage device is way too small for my needs (dual-boot multiple OS), the 3,840x2,160 display instead of 1,920x1,080, which means this thing eats battery charge faster; my fingerprint scanner doesn't function,n either (perhaps they were optional, and HP only made the one style of case?); my battery is approximately 60% of design capacity, and buying a new one off the Internet is always a Chinese junk crapshoot; and - most significantly - it does not have linux on it (yet).

@@techzact I am - or, at least, I will be if it's still functioning well when I get the $250 I had to borrow to buy it paid off. I am pretty sure that its battery will be pooched before then, but (of course) it does have an AC adaptor, so that's fine. When I get my favorite linux distro installed on it, it'll be great. I'm going to try to not wipe Microsoft's OS off the drive in the process... this time. Mostly so that I can learn it and Office 2019. After that, I might not log into Windows again. Although I said much the same thing approximately 15 years ago - and just proved otherwise :rolleyes: .
I got mine and it's really fucking stupid. The trackpad glitches, drivers randomly uninstall and can't be installed again. On top of all that a lot of people with the same model are experiencing the same problem and much more.

Are all refurbished product pre owned ? Or is it that they just refurbished it and it probably wasn’t bought or used before?
some of the refurbished products are used for 14 days or 30 days and returned if they didn't fulfilled the needs of one person.So they are new,some of them are used years,but,they are checked every part and put a warranty over the product which means it works perfectly,and also during the 12 months period you could send it if something malfunctions.
