I was absolutely obsessed with this computer game as a kid, I literally played the whole thing at least 3 times. I'm 24 years old now but I remember everything about this! So much nostalgia!
It’s so crazy that so many of us share the same memories of this game and how familiar all of the visuals from the game, the music, the voices are that even 20+ years later. To me it’s like I just played the game yesterday! This specific Reader Rabbit game, the Jumpstart Kindergarten, and the Cap’n Crunch’s Crunchling Adventure are all such nostalgic early computer games that are ingrained in my childhood memories and I’m so glad people have posted play through videos of them for us to reminisce on, thank you!!! 💕
OMG My sister and I ate blueberry pie yesterday and al of a sudden we had this same nostalgia feeling that made us think of a cartoon pie and we couldn't think of where it was from but then last night I remembered and OMG MEMORY OVER FLOW
Can I just say this? THANK YOU for bringing me back so many memories of wonderful games I used to play when I was younger. :D Seriously, when I first saw this, I think I just emitted a squeal. If I actually kept my old computer, I could still play these games. :(
24 year old man here taking a trip down nostalgia lane. Counting lake was my favorite. Trying to get the trash out of the lake before spike dumped more trash. Kinda emotional watching this. It helps me remember what it was like being 3-5 years old again if only for a moment🙁 Thanks for uploading this and helping restore long lost memories
Ahh! I remember this game! I used to play it all the time just for the fun of it, and because the art was so nice. Watching it again is like trying to remember something I know. I can't remember how this game goes since it's been so long since I played it, but while I watch, it's like watching a movie I know front to back.
FEATHER AIRLINES FLIGHT 101. It's amazing how memories rush back to you after getting slapped in the face with nostalgia. Thank you for uploading this!!!
GOD THIS IS MY CHILDHOOD I REMEMBER THIS FROM WHEN I WAS A BABY! Only 2-years-old when I started playing these on my big ol' clunky computer. I had SO many of these types of games.
Good God, man; this is one of the first PC games I ever played (the very first must have been the 1991 Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego and Jazz Jackrabbit. We had problems getting them to run even when we still had Win 3.1, I think). My mother must have bought it for me not too long after it came out -- I think it was when we went to a local flea market computer show. I still remember the images from this game so vividly that they may as well have been from another life. The blueberry pie, the characters, the phone call at the beginning, the wanted poster, and the lineup selection pictures take me right back to my childhood, playing this game on our computer in the kitchen when I was 3 - 5 years old. Good man for posting this!
lol my aunt had this game for my little cousin back in 1998. and I actually had fun playing it at the age of 9. I could never really get to the end though.
Does anyone remember the version of this game, where before going into the main part of the game here, it showed a treehouse, you could enter the treehouse, or click on the sign to play this. But the treehouse had little minor games, plus a little graphic of a boxset advertising the Preeschool game. It had a calender where you could learn about the seasons, and you could click on a drumset, and you'd hear these characters sing songs, I distinctly remember a tune about 'Seven Little Salamanders'.
I was very young when I played this game, so I wouldn't remember. I keep looking for the carnival version of Reader Rabbit Preschool, but it seems people remember the carousel version more.
I'm pretty sure my mother sold this game and several others that basically were my childhood in a yard sale last year. I was heartbroken when I realised. I'm so glad these videos still exist!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I have been trying to remember this game for YEARS; we used to play it in Computer class and I always loved it so much. It was terrible when we transitioned from CD-ROMs to actual typing, lol. The music has ALWAYS stuck with me, too! Ugh, to be a kid again...
Oh my gosh! I was looking things up on Amazing when I came upon this and just had to see the video for it on RUclips! :D Can I also say THANK YOU SOOO MUCH for posting these Parter videos! Brings back soo many good memories! :D I used to play these as a youngster as well! Boy so I ever miss it! I used to have these via a super old computer and discs! Its such a treat to see the tutorial play on this here on RUclips! :D So, THANK YOU 1000 TIMES A MILLION OVER!!! :D :D :D
I loved this game so so much as a kid, I spent hours playing all the reader rabbits over and over 😭. Oh to go back and be an innocent kid again without a care in the world ❤️. I loved the little extra things you could click along the way. Thank you for uploading
Oh, golden memories... My childhood with Reader Rabbit and Mattie Mouse was amazing. It's such a shame Matilda was not joining adventures with Reader and Sam in new series. Why did they get rid of Matilda? She was my favorite character!
I loved this game so much when I was a kid! I hated how there were no good quality videos of the game in English, so I thank you for uploading these videos!

Childhood. Right in the childhood. Reader Rabbit was everything.
Days like that are long gone unfortunately.

Nostalgia level is off the charts

Can I just say this? THANK YOU for bringing me back so many memories of wonderful games I used to play when I was younger. :D Seriously, when I first saw this, I think I just emitted a squeal. If I actually kept my old computer, I could still play these games. :(
+Lukas Chan Hey, no problem! It's a great childhood game!
I couldn't agree more, this is so beautifully nostalgic!! :'))
Excuse me, but can you download the background music and the game music from THAT game?

I think this game unintentionally inspired me to become a camp counselor.
***** hahahaha
ME TOO!
Katie Cadet I think she said Hello This is Matilda Mouse
At least you followed your dreams
Awww!!! 🥰
(That’s the smiling face with three hearts.)
0:12 "Hello!" (yawns) "Listen to the Mouse!"
That's what I misheard when I was 5.
I believe she said "Hello (yawns), this is Matilda Mouse".

I grew up with late 90s Reader, so I love these. Post-2001 Reader (that got rid of everyone except Reader and Sam) can go kick rocks.
I really do think that they should have these operating for the computers now.. I really don't care if I'm 18 I still love playing these..
It's crazy how time flies. One of my early games that I've played when I was 8 years old along with Jumpstart series.
So many memories
This brings back so many memories, I remember playing this all the time when I was really little....
I found this disc yesterday And its surprisingly in good shape still. I just need to get my computer working, then I'll be heading to Nostalgia city!
