    Yes, it's anti-vibration for the battery/board, to protect it from the impacting vibrations when used. Vibrations kills batteries/electronics.

    I think the fact Milwaukee are churning out so many tool speaks volume on how much R&D they’re not doing. While I agree they’re powerful, I’ve seen a lot of people say they’re throw away items. Whereas Makita can be repaired by even a layman. I made the mistake of buying a Milwaukee chop saw a few years back, it was 2 degrees off true, which is a lot when you’re doing second fix timber work.

    The biggest issue with Milwaukee (apart from build quality) is you can't get spares/parts, where's with other makes you can every little bit.
    20 years ago they were very good when they were owned by atlas copco/aeg.

    Having the forge battery on the milwaukee was a smart move for sure, as you're upping the spec of the impact straight away 😅

    Only issues with Milwaukee is they're throw away tools the cost to fix them is more or near the cost of a new tool where as the Makita Bosch ECT are fixable at a low cost

      My 1/2” Milwaukee impact started acting up and was out of warranty. The cost to fix no matter what was wrong was $199 US. A brand new tool with warranty is $249 US. Of course the extra $50 is an easy choice, but I can’t stand the thought of the old tool/boat anchor laying around that in reality would prolly run fine with minor repair. I hate Milwaukee for that.

      @@djrtime1398 they got a warranty of five years. How long do you expect it to last? As the video showed above you can get a diffenr tool that uuou can 'fix' but theres no point even owning the tool if you can use it for the job intended. Maybe wehave different expectations but if i can thrash something and work every day i dont expect something socheap to last more than 5 years.

  • @bleyz3557
    @bleyz3557 3 месяца назад +2

    Pretty much all of those sucks in terms of performance. MIlwaukee is still waiting for new 3/4 based on their newest 1/2 inch monster, Kress is like who cares, noname in other words, and Makita only cares about their xgt line. Inviting dewalt is pointless as they also wait for new 3/4 gun based on their overkill dcf961. If you want to get powerful gun it is better of waiting for new releases from milwaukee or dewalt or getting new milwaukee 1/2 inch wrench, dewalt dcf 961 on the other hand is killing itself type of a gun as 1/2 anvil inch is barely holding it together with that amount of torque.
