Looks so simple and easy. I hate keto recipes that have a dozen ingredients and need half a dozen eggs for one recipe. This is perfect. Thanks so much for sharing all your good ideas!
if you cut the last 1/4 inch or so off the green onion (including the root) then plant it in some soil it will grow back. You can do it over and over or just cut off the green tops to use. I keep a long skinny planter in my kitchen window for growing green onions. It's super convenient.
My wife makes pickle rolls with sweet pickles. She lays out three pieces of thin sliced ham, spreads cream cheese on it, then places the baby sweet pickle in there and rolls it up. She refrigerates and then slices. I can’t eat the sweet pickles anymore so I took dill pickles and blitzed them up in the food processor. Blended that with cream cheese. I added my favorite zero carb sweetener. I just spread it onto the thin ham lunch meat. So freaking good. 😂
I made these roll ups (with dill pickles) long before I was low carb. They were always a hit on food days at work. I love the idea of making the pickle cream cheese spread!
Our friend had us over for supper and she was so sweet. Instead of lecturing us about keto, she revised her whole meal just for us. She said she had fun 🤩. Anyway, she made an appetizer where she took cream cheese adding some ranch seasoning and spread it on deli ham then wrapped the ham around the scallion onion. We loved it and still make that for finger foods. Also, I agree about the pickle recipe as a chaffle. How genius! 🎉🎈
The minute you said tastes like Grandma’s 7 layer salad I was sold. That had been a staple at every holiday gathering for decades. Now I know what to do if I’m craving it outside of the holidays 🤣
What if you were to put all the ingredients in the blender with the pickles (after removing the liquid) and used a large tip and piping bag...to achieve more cylindrical "fries"? (Just a thought)
Definitely going to try the pickle fries but I'll use relish instead - just being lazy 😄 And will try the second one with celery for sure. Thanks for sharing 🥰
My grandma would always bring coleslaw with baby shrimp stirred in...so yummy! My mom was the one to always bring seven layer salad... and she only had 3 kids!😂
The pickle snack makes me think of fried pickle slices which are very yummy, but breaded and too many carbs. I may try the pickle recipe but make silver dollar size blobs rather than rectangles. TFS these 2 recipes! 🙏🌸🤓
I love spring onions, Philly and cooked bacon but I think I would have blitzed the bacon into bits, mixed it with the Philly and just scooped it up on the onions.
If I get a chance to try the pickle one, I think I'd start with a jar of sugar free pickle sweet relish. Can't remember the brand but it's a big name. I can't decide if it will have more or less yield than a blended jar of pickles. Thanks for the recipe, ladies!

7 layer salad was my go-to back when I was teaching for any potluck in the teachers lounge!! Im excited to try this!
I would use celery and sprinkle chopped green onion on top.

You add backing powder to make more crispy. I do this to my chicken wings

I just use pickle spears... not the same but good and much less work 😊
I was thinking zucchini instead of pickles too since I don't really like pickles. Excited to give it a try! Thanks for the inspo.

I absolutely love green onions. And pickles. I'll be trying both :)
I bet you could do the same pickle thing with green beans. I’m going to try a few variations.
you are part way to a Keto relish with that pickle recipe!
I will probably be making those pickle fries! Your idea to use if as bread if they flatten appeals to me. They look good!
Thanks girls ❤the pickle fries are definitely on my list to try!!! Maybe the other 🤣🤷 one
Love me some pickles! Def trying these.
My grandma would always bring coleslaw with baby shrimp stirred in...so yummy! My mom was the one to always bring seven layer salad... and she only had 3 kids!😂
i'm definitely trying these both. I just actually bought a tub of Grillo's pickles which are soooo good.

I’ll have to try these
Low Carb Love says that baking powder helps with crispiness. It works on chicken wings, so perhaps that is the reason.
Interesting!
Air fryer those pickle fries!😋😋😋
I love pickles. I will have to try the pickle fries. Wonder if you could use a ziplock bag like a piping bag and shape the fries that way.
I have a lot of egg white powder in my pantry, do you have any suggestions for what I can do with it? ❤
I think the pickles look good but I would have just eaten the pickles long before I could chop drain mix and bake
More cute doggie visits in the videos please. ❤
Was your grandmother an entertainer? Is that Judy Garland in the picture?
Maybe a small silicone mold?
Please don't give your dog onions.
Bacon bits might be better and more convenient 😊
You guys make me laugh!
I would try the pickles but not the onion
Maybe with fennel ..not as string as oinion
That dog is super cute! What breed is it?
Fyi, last two videos you point to top left corner for a recommend video, but nothing pops up??
Thanks for letting us know! Going to try to fix it :)
Please be something!
Why wouldnt you just fry a pickle??
We try things
