@@lenitaa7938 As you say "the dog is rewarded for it". So it's the owner's fault of not being able to handle the personality of their dog. In other people's hands, this dog would never have been an issue in the first place. Of course dogs have different personalities. I actively work with shelter dogs for over a decade now. And sure there are owners that can't handle certain dogs' personalities. But this is never the dog's fault. If the owners would invest time and learning to understand their dogs, 95% of dog-owner-issues could be solved in time. Sure there are also people that are for example mentally disabled or have psychiatric illnesses and aren't able to act in certain ways around a dog. These people might not be able to withstand an always questioning, own-minded, independent dog, as it might be too high of a frustration for them to handle. But this is an exception. The vast majority of people simply never learned (and I literally mean learning, like reading books, visiting classes, etc.) how to properly act with their dog, which causes the problems. That's why the dogs suddenly become "angels" when a trainer is around.
I feel bad for the husband because he comes back a day's long work as a firefighter and he tries to get into bed and there is a borking pomeranian trying to eat his face. *Feels bad man*

@@Sera_diary The part where Teddy wouldn't let Martin get into the bed and she didn't do anything about it really got to me. Seriously lady. Your husband needs the bed more than your dog.

Silviana yenita I know I LOVEEEEEE DOGS that why I watch these shows but once you put them in a harms way it's not good and it's almost always the owners fault
Your husband goes out and works hard, but can’t get in his own bed when he comes home? Get your household together lady. There’s no way that I’d allow my husband to feel put out of his own space. Edit: this chick swears at her husband because he expresses his opinion, but the dog can do whatever he wants. Smh Something is mentally wrong.
I think she mroject on her dogs the love and jealousy she would have loved to receive from her husband and love and needyness that her children dnt show her anymore ...she deludes herself on what relashionships should be like
In the beginning she seemed like she actually secretly loved the fact that her dog was so protective over her, and was choosing her over anyone else. She seemed to equate the snarling and biting as a sign her dog truly loves her. Sort of like “look at him protecting me, and only me”. I love a dog that will protect me too, but in the right circumstances, not from people who are your loved ones, or anyone that you associate with.
Exactly and then listen to how she talks to her husband for the world to see and then she give that smirk look to the cameraman when she says I know what my dogs like their my dogs I do not like this woman at all
Yep she really annoys me :/ I think she’s maybe basically told the dog it’s okay to act like that...I mean I feel bad for the man he comes home from a hard day of work and that dog comes and just bites him :
My father (he passed away three years ago) used to be like this woman. The pomeranian was very aggressive expecially with me and my brother. Since my father’s gone now he’s sweet and friendly...
This episode reminds me of my ex-neighbor and his Yorkie growing up. Man would complain about my family's rottweiler because "he's so mean" (a dog who made friends with wild rabbits and squirrels, and instantly fell in love with my cat when we first brought her home). I remember my dad saying "Yeah well whose dog bit whose kid?"
She don't scold the dog that's why the dog thinks that its okay biting them, She's obviously tolerating it And also she loves the dog more than her family
He’s a firefighter, a hero, and she treats her husband like trash. That poor man... she has the most obnoxious voice and when Victoria asked who she loved more, it took her forever to answer her husband....
Sod off. Taking care of a dog is like taking care of a kid, kid is sick? Take them to a doctor, same thing when your dog is sick. Busy & need someone to watch over your kid? Same thing with your dog.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAno. Not even. Children are much more complicated and people who think pets are exactly like children are absolutely ignorant. -Prior vet tech, dog trainer, dog owner, and mother of 4.
She uses the dog to control the family and put her at the top of the pecking order. Obviously her kids and relatives dont think highly of her. The dog is a sense of empowerment for her. Something she seriously lacks. If the dogs problem is fixed, she loses that empowerment. The fact she defends the dog over the trainer and her family shows she fears the inevitable.

This episode was So appalling! Highly frustrating. But there are other factors here, with her children leading independent lives, hubby a fireman, she's maybe turned her anxiety about them all into attention to the dogs. Deeply unhealthy but a coping mechanism that's actually driven her family wide apart. It was Great to see the difference in Two weeks for the dogs shocking behaviour, the couples close behaviour and all round happier family ♥️
that's what i think too. My son is turning 16 and I've started to think about getting silly toy dogs I can spoil, which is how I ended up watching this programme! Luckily I know enough good dog owners to know that they need good training, and all this 'I'm their mum' stuff makes me feel nauseous, but I can understand the empty nest feeling for sure.
I’m actually wondering if something happened to her.....I mean really happened. Trauma or something? Her whole thought process seems....slow? Injured? It actually creeped me out a bit and made me think she might benefit from.....medical help As rude and sarcastic as this sounds I’m actually being serious. It’s worrisome
You know what's sad about this, when you spoil a dog it makes them stressed and on high alert. When their status is lowered and they know their place, they relax in to happy dogs.
Basically she’s nurturing his behavior and doesn’t redirect it. He humps her as a sign of dominance. He thinks he owns her. The lady is just ignorant not a horrible lady. She just needs someone who needs her since her kids are grown. Love doesn’t equal a balanced dog.
That woman has the emotional maturity of a ten year old. “They’re my dogs I know what they like”, seriously? Of course they like what you give them it’s food!
Molly Mollywood That’s not it. She can’t face the adjustment to her role in the household because her kids are growing up, so Teddy allows her to still be a “mommy” . Ironically, she was being a crap mother to her actual children in the process.
Seriously? A dog chasing a man out of his matrimonial bed? Btw, why is she kissing the dog like a lover? And then she's cursing at her husband on national (well, international) TV? How disrespectful! As we say in Jamaica, what a piece a slackness! Smh
Exactly. I grew up with dogs, my mother was always soft with them... they didn't misbehave like the dogs in that show, but they never listened to her. But my dad or me ? They listened to us right away (even when I was a child), and they still loved us. They always came to us. To be honest, it's actually the same with children. People think they need to be pretty lax or the kids might dislike them but you just need to find a correct balance between being strict, fair, and loving. For example, my nephew of 5 has several times expressed he doesn't like his dad. Because his dad is very strict and likes to give orders, loudly - and that's almost all he does. In comparison, he loves his mother because she spends time explaining things to him, discussing, and she still sets the boundaries firmly. The kid doesn't have any control over her, yet she still doesn't consider him like a puppet who needs to follow her every whim or order. That's why he can love and respect her. You also have parents who let their kids do anything since the very moment they're born... and then wonder why they turn so bad, selfish and even mean sometimes. Kids come into the world not knowing anything about life, society or human relationships... it's the parents' job to teach them about everything. I feel sad for the kids when the parents fail to do it...
I’m amazed how fast that worked. The dog was never a bad dog, he just had a weak owner. The minute she started placing him on the floor when he’d snap at the husband, he started to behave. He could even pet the dog. She still was hesitating to put him on the floor though. You have to do it immediately.
They're not monsters... the owners are. My brother's girlfriend owns one : it's adorable, obedient, smart and very friendly. I've known a lot of friendly and obedient small dogs. I've also seen a few bad ones... and the owners of those bad ones were always huge self-centered d*cks. I don't think there's no link between the two.
I love dogs but if I were the Hisham I'd be scruffy Teddy and putting him out of the bedroom instead of trying to get on with him or Of be making my partner go sleep on the couch with the dog. I used to have a pomeranian he was a truly perfect sweet boy no agressive barking no biting. He would happily lick and greet anyone he met. It not about dogs being treated as dogs. If you have a human baby you don't let them have everything they want, and you teach them boundaries. Luke was my baby but he knew his boundaries and he would sit and wait on command. Treating an animal like a baby is only a problem when you don't take the appropriate parent role and let them run things. I love how at the end Teddu goes up to the baby very gently and polite. I also love how sweet the baby was to share a bit and how teddy was so gentle in taking it. I always train my dogs not to be food aggressive with humans. I don't mind risking myself sitting the training and I'm good at read dog body language. But I don't know how to safely teach them not to be food aggressive towards other animals without rising the other animal. Hasn't been a problem until now I have a 1 1/2 year old pit mix Dixie I feed separate from our 19 year old chihuahua Mitzy because it's safer plus Mitzy has occasional sezures we need to minimize stress. Dixie is usually a super friendly dog to people and dogs but while she doesn't mind humans handling her food she gets growly snippy if another dog comes near her food. She's so eager to meet people and dogs she'll try and run over to anyone she sees on leash. I don't encourage it and stand still waiting for her to calm. And sometimes when she's really excited she'll forget herself and jump up on purple in greeting. She's getting better at greeting but she still strains on the leash to greet people she sees. I keep telling people to not pet or acknowledge her when she jumps up on the but so many people are all 'it's fine, I love dogs' or 'I don't mind as her mom I do mind when she jumps up on people much like if you kid runs up and pokes a stranger it's bad manners
it's because often these names were given by meek, weak persons so yeah, exept when it is given sarcastically because you saw your dog act like a diva one time and bam, "duchess"
Reading this at the beginning of the episode, I was confused why this one would be worse than any other, or if it was your first time watching the show. I am not done watching and agree, she is by far the worse "owner" ever filmed.
My favorite part is when her real voice comes out and all the kids flinch and the dad freezes. And WOW. We now know how bad this situation really is. 😳
@@AlexandraLynch1it's fine to let the dog on the sofa or bed imo, but it's all personal preference, but obviously you can never let an animal claim the sofa or bed, if my dog did that he would not be coming back on.

This dog owner is being cruel by not training her dogs. They need to be taught because they're dogs!! Not babies and not toys. My 6month old Chihuahua Dempsey is cuteness on legs but because I love and respect him he is learning how to live as a family pet.
Huge props to you treating your dog as a dog! Also Chihuahuas were bred as ratters, so they have a big hunting drive, and it always makes me so happy when people work with a dog's purpose. Hope you play plenty of fetch games with your pup!
Yeah I agree. If we look at it from the dogs prespective, he is the pack leader the woman is his mate and everyone else is his subjects that need to listen to him. This is not healthy.
I'm a dog Mom AND the pack leader. My dogs hear a knock at the door, they go to their "spots", their beds and wait until I say its ok before greeting anyone. I don't have kids. My dogs fill that role for me, that maternal need I have, and that's ok. I wouldn't let my kids run the house and I won't let my dogs do it. That's my perspective.
exactly! that dog thinks he's the pack leader. He bites and humps because he wants to controll everybody. She doesnt even correct him. The dog owns her and she is petting him for bad behaviour. He learned this through her because he had no discipline. Shes a bad dog owner.
I have a puppy. I'd love to train her to do that. (She's not aggressive or anything, she just wants to know who it is because she loves people.) How did you train your dogs to do that? Did you get a friend to help you practice?
What an insufferable woman. I like to treat my dog to a good homecooked meal but if he's given dry dog food he's gonna eat it whether he thinks it's tasty or not because he isn't getting anything fancy if there isn't any.
NineTailedFate and the fact that she got SO ANGRY at her husband when he was calm and just recommending that she feeds the dogs actual dog food pissed me off lmao
I’ve read raw or like unprocessed food has extended dogs life spand a lot. I recently bought my puppy preblended frozen dog food from pet food express bc I didn’t want to grind beef liver in my blender lol the time and effort was unrealistic for me to keep up with, but I thinks it’s worth wild. It just looks like frozen ground beef with veggies. I have a small dog (chihuahua mix) so portions are smaller and cheaper to feed. You should look into it if you have a good dog you’d like to have around longer.
@@casperr1299 Of course, I agree. I too feed raw when I can. I however cannot feed raw a hundred percent of the time, just like I cannot feed myself top quality food all the time. This woman has taken it too far: she has become so obsessed with coddling her dog it rips her family apart and has taught the dog to reject any other food. Not good. ):
@@casperr1299 We feed our cats a raw diet. I'll make a large batch about four times a year and have a freezer dedicated to cat food. A weekend of work is a small price to pay for total control over what goes into their food. And it's actually much cheaper than when I was buying the freeze dried version. It's still marginally cheaper than feeding a good quality canned food.
@@clearascrystal2873 They aren't actual human babies. They're dogs, they have basic needs and all they need is love and loyalty. But don't cradle him in your arms and spoil him.
@@8dslumiere64 But why can't you cradle your pets? When I saved my dog she was about a month old and barely eating. She slept in my lap and had to be fed. She had a lot of digestive issues (vomiting all the time sometimes the vomits were bloody) but the numerous vets who saw her had no idea what was wrong. Then I did some research, changed her diet and she started improving. 3 years later she is 60 pounds and healthy.
@@clearascrystal2873 You can cradle your pets as long as you time it well and as long as your pet is comfortable with it. I love cuddling my cat but when he doesn't feel like it, I respect it because I want him to feel comfortable around me. I never hold him like a baby because I know it makes most cats feel vulnerable, I also rarely touch his belly for the same reason. The thing is that if you don't see your pet as their species, you may not see their non-human necessities. It's not healthy for a human to be treated like a pet, so why would it be healthy for a pet to be treated like a human? They're different from us and that's ok.

Honestly I thought she was using the dog as a way to avoid the husband
In the beginning she seemed like she actually secretly loved the fact that her dog was so protective over her, and was choosing her over anyone else. She seemed to equate the snarling and biting as a sign her dog truly loves her. Sort of like “look at him protecting me, and only me”. I love a dog that will protect me too, but in the right circumstances, not from people who are your loved ones, or anyone that you associate with.

She probably loves having babies and raising them but her kids are grown now. It’s like she feeling a void tbh

The way they all look at the mom when Victoria says “ why do you think this got like this”
*DOGS SNARLING AND BARKING AGGRESSIVELY*
Lady restraining dogs back: "It's okay, darling!"
Thanks to Victoria, I learnt that if we love our dogs, we NEED to be strict with them. Strict and loving
Treating a dog like a human is actually considered abuse.
@@mexa_t6534 how so? You treat a dog as you do a child. Ive had no problems with any of my dogs with treating them this way

She and teddy are lucky the husband is somewhat amused by the situation or he’d be using teddy for a football.
I keep telling people to not pet or acknowledge her when she jumps up on the but so many people are all 'it's fine, I love dogs' or 'I don't mind as her mom I do mind when she jumps up on people much like if you kid runs up and pokes a stranger it's bad manners

even a baby needs training, my mom has always said "first time parents need to be required to buy a puppy training manual"
Yeah I agree. If we look at it from the dogs prespective, he is the pack leader the woman is his mate and everyone else is his subjects that need to listen to him. This is not healthy.
Babies are taught too
Agreed
When Teddy barks and growls the wife cuddles and comforts him which just encourages it
I'm a dog Mom AND the pack leader.
Exactly! They can still be your babies and be trained
Yes..i appreciate your view point a lot!
Yes!
exactly! that dog thinks he's the pack leader.
Did you get a friend to help you practice?
tbh theyre lucky their friends havent sued them if they leave bleeding lmaoo
Well they wouldn't be friends if they had sued them... xD
Yes I would too sue my friends. It seems like a very American thing to do but maybe your not from there
“They will be coming back in the bed tho”
“No they not”
“They will be tho”
Victoria: no they’re not.
“Okay”
12:55 she is giving me major repressed/passive agressive energy omg 😂😂
What an insufferable woman. I like to treat my dog to a good homecooked meal but if he's given dry dog food he's gonna eat it whether he thinks it's tasty or not because he isn't getting anything fancy if there isn't any.
lmao, same comment XD. im so sorry but I really didnt know. I didnt copy your comment. :-D
It's still marginally cheaper than feeding a good quality canned food.

i think she’s actually a physcopath,,,poor martin :(
My jaw dropped when she said "who tf you think you are". Then literally continues on to blame him w "im sorry but youre winding me up". Heck lady.
kally ginter same oh my lord he needs to get outta that house asap
Why is so hard for people to love their dogs by treating them like dogs?
That‘s what I thought, too!
If you really love your dog most - you can‘t do anything else than treat him like a dog!
This is what dogs deserve!!!
Hmmm. Good question. I haven't been able to do it myself
Father's eye roll when the mother asks "Does that mean he won't be my baby anymore?" hilarious 😂
