Transit Assault 51st St - Lexington AVENUE STATION

- March 18th, 2024 - Manhattan, NY: At approximately 12:04 a.m., officers from Transit District 4 responded to 51st St - Lexington Ave. for a 32-yr-old male who was struck in the head by a cell phone after trying to break up a fight between two people on-board a northbound 6 train.
The suspect was caught at the next station, 59th St., and positively identified by the victim and taken into custody. The victim was treated and released from the scene for a laceration to the back of the head.
