Im a sikh and grateful to be 1 and I can never think to convert to other religion. Bcoz I havent found any single flaw in the Sikh religion.. Sikhism teaches you only How to LOVE God, love other human beings, love the nature, + how to defeat the 5 human evils (lust, anger , greed, attachment, ego) . Sikhism doesnt even preach to go convert other people. Not at all Sikhism teaches to respect and be tolerant toward other faiths. And Set a good example of being a good honest hard working human being.. What you want more ? The only way to become 1 with God is to remove your ego and accept God s Will and be merciful toward others..
As a man with no religion who still believes in a "higher power" (God), this makes more sense than anything I have ever heard. You embrace science AND religion??!.. WHY ARE THERE NOT MORE OF YOU!!!!!!! Past actions? (I"m starting to get the picture I think)
The reason there are not More Sikhs is , Sikhi gives Sikhs too much Freedom, so they do not bother to convert people into becoming Sikhs. Thing is the British taught Sikhs not to spread Sikhi. But Guru said do not Force people to Convert into anything, but do share the Knowledge of Sikhi with all Beings, just as you do any Knowledge, and then those who like it will embrace it, free will.
I get you man, I claim no central practice or belief, but I believe in a “Greater Force” and other beings and worlds, I have to say, reincarnation makes more sense to me as well.😊
@@nobu1730 sorry but omkar is older than ik onkar. Or may be the same thing. I don't understand Sikhism. Hinduism has the concept of reincarnation, as well as Jainism, Buddhism. I can speak only for Hinduism, though.
Reincarnation makes way way way more sense than single birth theory if u have any doubt please listen to kathas of Giani Sant Singh ji Maskeen he will answer everything in detail
gurpreet thind the first thing I learned in Jagrag's area of study which was philosophy was that nothing in this world is clearly understood, its comforting to believe that things make sense and are very likely and there is much to support this based on many things written. The topic of only humans having a soul is debatable when is not the soul the one element that comes from God and can't be manufactured because its invisable without form in the dimensions we have awareness of. To refresh or summarize life is made of five elements only four of which are found on Earth, Hydrogen, Carbon, Nitrogen and Oxygen. The Fifth is called Everessence, which is the spirit originally breathed into the nostrils of Man and every living thing.
I had a friend who was an Orthodox Christian Priest. He told me that dogs don't have souls so they are of no account when they die. His family is sad when a beloved pet passes but once it dies it does no continue on in any way. I could never accept a belief system that would dismiss the love and loyalty of a dog as "soulless". My heart cannot accept such a narrow view of God's creation.
It is not just about humans. It is the Conservation Principle - that matter cannot be created or destroyed and neither can Consciousness. It can only transfer from one form to another. So life and Consciousness whether animal, human, plant etc. can never be destroyed. Hindu texts say we are "Jeev-atman" or "Embodied Souls"
my sphynx cat was an angel, he helped me through rough times, gave me strength, and gave me love that i would never have, if i never had him in my life. im speaking about unconditional love.. i can NEVER forget him, i will always love him, hes a part of my heart, and hes free from this reincarnation cycle, because ive never in my 25 years ever known anyone! NO ONE! that was as much loving and kind and filld with harmony like he was...
There is also reincarnation in Wicca, some other forms of European Paganism, some Indigenous Beliefs, sometimes Sufism and the Kabbalah aspect of Judaism, aside from the Dharma and other forms of Eastern Spiritual.
Bhagat Karbir ji said to hindu pandits I am freed from reincarnation this is my last life.. he knew it. Reincarnation works on karam.. (good deeds, kind to others, treating animals kindly, meditation on God etc..) lets say in life #1 you did this you might be a rich sikh in life #2 now with all that riches you can help the world or commit bad karams (alcohol/drugs, womanizer, lust all day, 5thieves are heavy on you, shady business earning in a dishonest way, list goes on) now life #3 is dependent on life #2 in life #3 you might be a born in a every poor family (you might do good karam or bad karam) Human soul, is meant to go meet God.. just like at a "certain degree water boils" (sant maskeen ji's reference) at a certain level you are enlightened or God or Guru does kirpa on you and you are good to go.. from the cycle of incarnation..
Jagraj you are so right ! Thanks for this man wonderful channel i understood this completely:) reincarnation does make absolute sense, it makes more sense than their 1 life for sure.
Reincarnation seems like a horror to me, because you never get to see your parents again. They just become a dog or something, and now you can never see them, ever again. It’s not the consciousness inside my mom that I loved. It is not the consciousness inside my dad that I loved. Rather, it is the whole person of my mom, the whole person of my dad, who I love, and miss so very much. And I’d reincarnation is true, then I will never ever be able to see them again. So I hope for a resurrection. A resurrection of some kind. By the way, I completely agree with the idea that the “one chance” story is sheer cruelty. The idea that if you don’t “make the right guess” about which religion to pick, or what have you, that God will eternally torture you- that’s bunk. I can’t believe that. I think that God loves us, even in the midst of our brokenness, and sees the infinite potential in us, and is 100% committed to our development. I just can’t find any hope in the idea of reincarnation. It just looks like a heap of bodies and lives being thrown away, to me. The idea that we learn some sort of abstract “lessons” makes no sense to me. “Sorry, you didn’t learn your lesson; You will never ever get to see your parents ever again. Or hey maybe how about this, your mom will be your daughter in your next life does that make it better?” No it does not! It seems like a Kafka-esque cruelty to me. So while I have a great deal of affection for Sikhism and Sikh thought, and strongly agree that there is One God, and that God’s Shabda resounds forever within us, I just dont get this idea of reincarnation being a good thing. That idea does not make sense to me. I want to see my mom and my dad after I die, and I want to see the healing of this world that is our home, that God created for us.
It's the same thing be open and give choices to everyone making it polytheistic infact, that is the more liberal religion. When we say Om Ganpataye Namah, we mean Om (i.e Universal Consciousness and Universal Energy) Ganpataye (In the form of Ganpati) Namah ( I bow down to you). Some people find it hard to go with a formless God (Om Universal energy) , but some are good with it, so there is an option. Also do read and learn about the Sanskrit effect, which is the latest research showing how sanskrit enhances and increases the size of the brain.

Even Buddha (Vishnu Avatar) showed the light to the same Samadhi. In the end every way you go leads you to Samadhi , some are quicker, some will take you millions of births. What does Om Namo Narayanay Mean Or Om Namo Vasudevaya. It means the same seeing Om in form of Vasudevaya/Vishnu You must watch History of Yoga Documentary first. Then learn Either Vipasana or Ashtanga Yoga. Simply saying you are a Vaishnav leads you no where, you need to follow him and what he says know and understand what he says, then become like him. Even in Bhakti Marg you need to learn the meaning of what Vishnu says. What Krishna says in Geeta. And possibly do Satyanarayan Puja (which is the dearest to Vishnu) and know what it really means. Even Gayatri Mantra in Geeta states about Yoga and final merging by Dhyana to Samadhi.
What's the point of punishing people for their life's sins by putting them in hell, and then punishing them again for the same things by an unfavorable reincarnation? Isn't it unfair to punish twice for the same crime? If you've suffered for your sins in hell, you should be born next time randomly or in a neutral place, not, say poor or disabled.
So there's no such thing in sikhism as an unfavorable reincarnation? In Hinduism, as far as I know, it is believed that if you're born poor or disabled means that you are being punished for past sins and people believe you deserve to suffer. Is that the case with sikhism?
@@corhydron111 it's a good point but then if you think about it in the terms of work and load of action and reaction, a natural law would mean that noone gets away with anything however minute the karmic action is. Just because we are born human shouldnt mean we are entitled to get away with everything for free. Someone has to pay. Therefore a precise and perfect law of outcome must exist. We've seen this in education. If you dont make and mental effort to study you fail, or at least you wont get a very good mark. That's how I've come to understand. @@zakm9219 can you explain eternal damnation? Why is that , according to jokir naik , people like mother Theresa and Gandhi went to hell? Do good sikhs get to jannah?
Ok, whether you believe in nothing, an after life, or re-incarnatation why does there have to be a reason for every thing? If re-incarnation is true, other people did these bad things because THEY were bad, NOT you, and if you were good and didn't deseve it, then that suffering could make you rank even higher, or get to break the cycle. Nothing is perfect or planned. We forget about natural selection and the survival of the fittest. A ant eater eating fire ants isn't evil. He's simply doing what he had to do. The ants didn't deserve it, it was just nature. It would only be logical that they're suffering be compensated by moving them up the chain of life. A rape or a murder is not justified, but is indictive of the evilness of another person. Sometimes this may be the case, but rarely, if ever. STOP trying to see order where there is none. Regardless of whether reincarnation is real, or "fair", one must acccept that even if we all aledgedly have souls, we are still a part of evolution and survival of the fittest. Only when we accept that can we find peace, regardless of what you think of the after life
one que how can we just born in a poor family and leave it pechele karam itself when guru gobind singh ji said that all good and bad deeds fruit u will get in this life only not on 2 life
Blessings. Populist religion and the Nectar of a Faith are two different things. There is absolutely room for the transmigration of the soul in Judaism and Christianity. The Scriptural, Rabbinical and Patristic evidence is abundant. Even the Resurrection is a form of "transmigration." The main difference between the Vedic and Abrahamic revelations, is that it was revealed to us that GOD has an IMAGE and that Human Beings were created in His Image and Likeness... God created each sentient being "according to its kind." The Bible does not teach that if you "mess up" that you will go to Hell. On the contrary- anyone who calls out to God and seek after Him will be saved. Salvation is for the whole world (1John 2:2). Those who utterly reject God or walk against the Dharma have no use and no place for the Kingdom of God. Those who desire to exist as enemies of God receive from Him what they desire because God is Love. God respects the desires of every human being- and gives them what they want because He is Love. Again, there is a difference between Populist religion and the Nectar of a Faith.
Not to mention they believe in to get to heaven you have to be judged. Judgment day hasn't happened yet so therefore no ones in Heaven and no ones in hell.

Every day that you wake up is another chance from Allah to discover who he is and turn to him. So Allah the most just gives many chances if only you opened your eyes. Why would a animal get punished for his last life wasn't his reincarnation another chance for him to know Allah? Supposedly
Hii! Interesting question. Here are my thoughts. Why do you need to remember it? What better would it do? I think not knowing your past life is better. You will truly be a better person because you will do Good on your own. You won't do Good because you had a good life before. You will do Good because you have compassion and selflessness. You won't look at your past life mistakes, sufferings, thoughts, sins... and let it bring you down. Instead you will take full focus on your life now. There are some things Waheguru (God) does not want us to know for our own good. We can all agree in every religion that God knows what is best for us.

Sat Shiri Akal, I have one question which I am not able to understand which is: Gurubani says “khel sankoche tan Nanak ekai” which means at the end we’re all going to merge in one and there will be only one. Then what is point of Mukti? I am not raising question because I am against Gurubani. I just want to understand the concept as many things are unclear to me. Another question is about 84 lakh joonies. Guru didn’t give count of any other thing. He always said ke “ant na paaya jaayi “. So how Guru can give a number for how many times we go into different incarnation. Please send me the link of video when you answer these questions. I shall be thankful to you. Also, I think when someone tells a Sikh they don’t believe in re-incarnation and believes in one time birth : a Sikh should answer however you think and for whatever reason if you believe/meditate/love one God you’re right. But if you don’t do that (love God) then every belief is false. Guru Granth Sahib included Bani of Baba Farid ji. I don’t remember that Salok but it wrote about similar faith that when person dies he goes and sits in his grave and Guru ji included that faith because Baba Fareed ji is bride oh God. Thanks

I think it's also important to note that reincarnation in Sikhism is different than in Hinduism, etc. In Sikhism, yes we believe in reincarnation but the point is to be the best you can be so you can end the cycle of reincarnation and be with Waheguru, versus in Hinduism where you are always reincarnated. I apologize in advance if I have misspoke.
What? Hinduism proposes that we are constantly in the cycle of reincarnation until moksha, which is when we are one with God. Lool. Abrahamic faith makes more sense. To run things efficiently we can't be equal in this world. If everyone is rich no one will work for each other. This is a sign of God that he made order in this world with inequality. Otherwise there would be chaos. Same thing with suffering. Abrahamic faith says everything is a test. Your riches and your poverty. Similarly health and disease. Absence of anything makes you forget the blessings. People experience everything relatively. Concept of 1 life makes more sense because we are aware of our mistakes in this life hence we can only correct in this life which is not one day. Average life is around 60 years. Concept of incarnation is more confusing complex and it makes more senseless because we don't remember our past live which makes the sufferings more. One chance makes you more serious and discipline and keep you on your toes for the test you have been created for. Win or loose simple. Don't take anything for granted. Work hard this is one life here.

Not similar, they Are Arabic words. Many of their words are Arabic in orgin due to the mixing of languages in India when just the Muslims and Hindus existed.
This video makes no sense. The bambi example is piss poor. By that logic everyone who is suffering deserves it because of a previous life? So even Jagraj dying from cancer means he must have done bad in a previous life? Your family will be your relatives throughout this cycle, so your mother could end up being your wife? Heaven and hell makes far more sense than this position. Everyone on earth right now is no good and needs to work hard and could have done countless crimes in previous lives. Absurd. There has got to be a better explanation.
I am a fan of these videos, but why do you have to degrade another religion in order to explain your religious beliefs? That is what they believe to be Gods words so referring to their beliefs in a derogatory tone and manner is disrespectful. In Sikhism, everyone is equal. Practice what you preach, be respectful. You will only push people away from Sikhism with a tone like that, rather than create an interest and spread the philosophy.
It's personal choice what people choose to believe, personally I don't believe in reincarnation and I was born into sikhism, the ruh was with God and he chooses when we shall come into this world, where we end up is not to do with karma, the person who ends up in a less fortunate situation is because God chose that to test the person, if he does good he gets more in hereafter than someone who born in fortunate situation who does good, only God knows the plan and truth, main point is respect all faiths and love only our Lord who create us and to whom we return

According to him dinosaurs were first then primates them humans.. The first incarnation was dinosaurs? What good or bad did dinosaurs do to become primates? By what standard? Are animals even aware of mortality? Who can verify that? Rhetorical question. in the first incarnation of life in the physical, all creatures should have perfect karma seeing as they would've had no previous life mistakes to pay for. Why did they join the cycle of reincarnation at all? The man blames Christ the living God for being cruel for only giving one chance at life and different circumstances in life and affirms reincarnation; The karma cycle is suffering with no way out. One is placed on a cycle in this suffering earth with others who are also paying for debt with no recollection of it. That's pretty jacked up So the mindset he speaks of in this video ridicules Christ for giving one life to live and deal with consequences but says it makes more sense for a loving God to allow you to suffer again and again and again and again with no memory of a past life so what there is pointless suffering it cannot answer for. What the human is trying to wrestle with is suffering. Why does it happen, what's the purpose. Which I totally understand. What you want more ? gurpreet thind the first thing I learned in Jagrag's area of study which was philosophy was that nothing in this world is clearly understood, its comforting to believe that things make sense and are very likely and there is much to support this based on many things written.
Hi Gurpreet. Do you have a link to the katha of Sant Maskeen Ji discussing this topic? I would like to listen to it. Please advise. Thanks.

I had a friend who was an Orthodox Christian Priest. He told me that dogs don't have souls so they are of no account when they die. Reincarnation works on karam.. (good deeds, kind to others, treating animals kindly, meditation on God etc..) lets say in life #1 you did this
you might be a rich sikh in life #2 now with all that riches you can help the world or commit bad karams (alcohol/drugs, womanizer, lust all day, 5thieves are heavy on you, shady business earning in a dishonest way, list goes on)
now life #3 is dependent on life #2
in life #3 you might be a born in a every poor family (you might do good karam or bad karam)

Jagraj amazing job, you are a natural at this! Very inspirational friend
I’m a Hindu but this was beautifully explained
That's an attachment. Sikhi is free from attachment. Sikhs who desire might go to heaven they desire . Who knows what akaal plans
MAIN THING IS BELIEVE IN ONE SUPREME GOD
It's the same thing be open and give choices to everyone making it polytheistic infact, that is the more liberal religion.
When we say Om Ganpataye Namah, we mean Om (i.e Universal Consciousness and Universal Energy) Ganpataye (In the form of Ganpati) Namah ( I bow down to you).
Some people find it hard to go with a formless God (Om Universal energy) , but some are good with it, so there is an option.

You must watch History of Yoga Documentary first.
Love the Bambi analogy 😂
What's the point of punishing people for their life's sins by putting them in hell, and then punishing them again for the same things by an unfavorable reincarnation? Isn't it unfair to punish twice for the same crime? If you've suffered for your sins in hell, you should be born next time randomly or in a neutral place, not, say poor or disabled.
Gods justice is perfect and he gives us lessons to learn.. dont think being poor is a curse, it can often be a curse to be rich

200000 Human skull founded in morocco. Tell the truth. Reincarnation is illogical. Islam is best. Allah khows best

You will only push people away from Sikhism with a tone like that, rather than create an interest and spread the philosophy.
agreed
These are arguments made by Muslim preachers
Disagreeing isn't insulting or putting religions down. As a Sikh, I'm sorry if you interpreted it that way. I get how it can be perceived another way.
+NK D Its your personal choice what you choose to believe. However its another thing to say what Guruji is saying is not true. Gurbani and those who have earnt Gurbani clearly speaks about reincarnation
It might say that but that does not mean I have to believe it, only God knows truth
+NK D why would god set challenges to some people over others? That makes zero sense. also what do you mean the less fortunate get greater rewards? can you explain because that all sounds completely illogical
And honestly this doesnt make any sense. It only made me question sikhism even more.
Then how was what I was first. For example how could I be a fly in my first life.... what did I do to deserve it to be a fly if I had no life before. I need an answer asap!
Farah
I do not find the Sikhism view on reincarnation or the after life convincing
@@farah.mp3 ok you joke, if it's easier to sin now a days why is the human population increasing?
@@farah.mp3 Is watching porn a sin? Is adultery / fornication a sin? If you look around that's getting more common it is easier to sin than it was before and if the reincarnation logic held up that would equate to more flies and bees not more humans. The whole idea it reincarnation especially in Hinduism isn't ONCE said in their holy books (Vedas). Also to bring back my old point, insect population is also decreasing. If someone were to be born as a strand of grass how the fuck would they be able to move on to the next stage on the system. The idea of reincarnation makes no sense but it's made in order to discriminate people that are poorer or handicapped, and to justify it they claim oh that was a bad man in his last life.
Fun fact neither is the Trinity in the Bible, nor is the idea of Jesus calling himself god.
@@farah.mp3 yes because in the 1800s you could just go to a magazine and see three black men and a white women just get at it. No there was no porn back then well not as open as it is now. Laws such as abortion, same-sex marriage are all legal now in areas (doesn't mean I go against it) but most religions see that as a sin. So if it's easier to sin why is the human population going up, the amount of wealthy people are going up. I brought up the Trinity because just like the Trinity it is nowhere to be seen in actual documentation it exists in the religion it was made up by the church, just like the idea of reincarnation that the Hindus didn't believe in till they made it up. Move along I mean by the positions in life, this part I haven't read up along but good karma = better next life. How do you achieve good karma as a damn fly?
@@farah.mp3 there is not a single study or 100% proven fact of reincarnation. Children have said oh I remember in my last life I was in this country and that, for all I know the mother made him memorize that for 5 minutes of Fame.
kaale and that lol..
besides that point, how does population proportionate with the number of souls? how does that work,

Animals are created for the ecological cycle.Plus we learn from them cause they are a community like us.It is a blessing and wisdom
According to islam, people who did good deeds like Mother Teresa, will still be condemned to hell because she wasn't a muslim. It doesn't makes any sense. According to sikhi, if she lived her life as gurmukh, she would merge back into God. Even if she err somewhere because of not having a true Guru, God will not ignore her good deeds. She will get very easy test in her next life for eg. she may be born in a very Gurmukh family in her next life.
Not true, according to Islam someone like mother Theresa will most likely head off to arof which is in between heaven and hell.
Farah we can't judge those whom are dead, because we do not know the dialogue in which they have conducted with their creator afterwards.
Actually you are again a joke talking, every miscarriage or still birth would go to hell according to your logic they weren't Muslim? Its a fair trial at the last hour to plead your argument
Not true, Islam says we don't know what will happen to people who die as non Muslims. There are certain types of people who will go to hell if they fit the criteria but we can't say for sure if Teresa fits that criteria..

Every day is new chance, new life, new way to please God.
Reincarnation is stupid thing to believe.
thank you so much to explain this it seems so logical
So why does this guy not talk about his previous life?
No one seems to remember anything about being here before!
There is a reason why no one remembers their past life cause if we remember our past life we won’t live our new life we would remember our children or parents and continue our old life so its a blessing that we don’t remember our past life so we could live our new life
@@akshatsingh3693 so why does no one recognise people who have been here before?

@@SuperHectorofTroy I told you its a blessing thats why you don’t recognize your past people. God is a really great magican no will be able take out his blessing
@@SuperHectorofTroy University of Virginia has done great amount of research on this. There are many people who remembered their previous lives.
Reincarnation always make sense whereas one life only sounds stupid
i never believed what people says or what they say on my believe is, but all ik is nothing is impossible and beliving in one theory of science is not enough. so therefore reincarnation is possible
pls don't make fun of the other religion belief its not nice when they do or we do
if you were a newborn you would be able to walk, talk, you would be smart + you would remember your past life like come on man
if everyone remembered their last life and mistakes what would be the point?. The whole idea of suffering is when you think to yourself “why me?” It’s the bad karma, otherwise what reason is there to think “why me”? Why would a loving God test you if you did nothing wrong

"so who ever is to go in hell burns in the lake of fire and then come back to earth?"
Temporarily, IF they were an extremely bad person.
I think they have a video on that as well somewhere....
Bambi eg makes no sense. 1st question you have to ask. Why is the forest burning? It doesn't just burn for no reason. 100% our fault it burns and the animal gets hurt or dies. 2ndly God don't just give you one chance. He gives you a lifetime to do good and repent. Your statement of God only giving 1 chance is false. A belief whereby someone takes from existing scriptures that only suits him and creates another belief. Is something that has been foretold in the bible and quran. It will be made to sound so beautiful that people will follow blindly. There is no other scriptures that will come after the bible and quran except for those created by people for their own agenda.
Why even waste life time doing good when you can just repent at the end?
Do you know when you will end?
@@qa3715 Bambi story was to point out animal suffering. Why does it exist?
And what if lightning started the forest fire?
or Volcano engulfed the forest?
simple question: can you please mention one person or entity you know now that you also knew in a previous life ? single birth theory makes more sense, because this is the only way to keep our identity. the hell issue - is an issue if you adhere to the concept of eternal conscious torment, which is not the case for all christians. the unrelenting love of Christ is for all. hell is rather seen as temporary correction/purification tool...
You are comparing god. With human that doesnt make sense what you think god is like humans.no buddy if wahaiguru was a god why he died who took his soul .like does even god have a soul so confusing just open your heart and mind and research other religion like islam .i am also researching other religion and i came to conclusion sikkhi just make illusion thats it
Very well said mate.
Can I reincarnate in fantasy world
It is any world that God has created, not you lol
Waheguru ji 🙏
All Dharmic cultures have understood reincarnation, still the Khalistan think dharma and richesness is different.
Can u talk without mentioning muslim and christian why u attached them in your speeches all the time ..
For u that is very important ?
of course there is incarnation..
Remember we all are energy and Energy can never be destroyed it can only transform from one form to another..
Until and unless energy doesn't found its absulate..
Bro charles darwin theory supo evolution recarnation
According to him dinosaurs were first then primates them humans..
The first incarnation was dinosaurs? What good or bad did dinosaurs do to become primates? By what standard?
Are animals even aware of mortality? Who can verify that? Rhetorical question.
in the first incarnation of life in the physical, all creatures should have perfect karma seeing as they would've had no previous life mistakes to pay for. Why did they join the cycle of reincarnation at all?
The man blames Christ the living God for being cruel for only giving one chance at life and different circumstances in life and affirms reincarnation;
The karma cycle is suffering with no way out. According to its doctrine, life is placed here and then if good didn't outweigh the bad (according to what standard?) One is placed on a cycle in this suffering earth with others who are also paying for debt with no recollection of it. That's pretty jacked up
So the mindset he speaks of in this video ridicules Christ for giving one life to live and deal with consequences but says it makes more sense for a loving God to allow you to suffer again and again and again and again with no memory of a past life so what there is pointless suffering it cannot answer for.
What the human is trying to wrestle with is suffering. Why does it happen, what's the purpose. Which I totally understand.
Someone will say "God We suffer, you should suffer too",
Wait, God did suffer. With us and for us. God incarnate came here and laid His life down for us. Thru Christ.
You need to read scriptures
