I think its because they still believe he did hurt her and refused to verify that it was fake and still refuse to forgive him despite that it was not true and think he really hurt her.

Sara passed away from terminal cancer she told Jack’s parents the truth about what she did they said they never want to help her when she flatline her family were devastated over death and Jack’s parents blame Sarah‘s parents they have a freaking liar of a daughter no memorial service for Sarah she died alone only her parents come to the funeral. But someone destroyed her grave and spat on her casket saying she ruined lives.
Leaving Sarah‘s parents to leave out of the state as for the parents day regretted it they tried phone calling Jack saying how they were sorry they believe Sarah over him he excepted it but the damage is done while hanging up and block their numbers they actually blame each other after they believe in Sarah they should’ve not bring Sarah in the first place before she died

What Sarah did can never be forgiven. And her death was the extremely expensive price she had to pay for ruining another's life. Sarah, was it really worth falsely accusing your cousin of what he did? As for the parents, karma was already served to them on a hot steaming platter. Not only did they lose Sarah, but they also lost their son as well. To OP's parents, I hope that your decision was worth it in the end. But what sweetens the karma even more is no doubt they learned the truth that Sarah lied and now they have to suffer even more.
I dont believe in forgiveness to be given willingly, it must he earned, regardless if god can forgive or not, forgiveness must be earned, if it wasn't everything would be horrible

Well it was clear his parents prefered their niece over him they should have verified if it was true but they did not see it was fake and believed their niece instead of their son and disown him telling him to not approah them and not return to them that they will not welcome him in their home anymore well glad he finally getting his life on track.
Sarah has balls to ask jack for forgiveness but not for his parents for all the lies years ago, and jack is also an idiot for not using the uno card on her (if the restaurant has security cameras scenario) "unless you tell my parents the truth sarah your final momments can be way shorter than what you think (points at the security cameras) and sue her for defamation and false report of SA.
Forgiveness isn't for the other person, it's for you, the person who was wronged. If you hold on to answer and resentment, it will eat you up from the inside, while the other person blissfully carries on with their life. I've had to forgive some truly heinous things, even by family members who supposedly loved me. That doesn't mean you have to forget what they did, or even tell them you've forgiven them. It just means that inside, you have to let go of the anger, hurt and resentment.
What an incomplete story so does the man never get his family back to his parents never apologize for being so wrong and accusing him of something like that..
