I love the "I can't stand injustice" statement. When I was a kid I never said, " it's not fair" instead I would say, "there is no justice", lol. I still despise injustice.
Every time I hear that phrase in these stories, I grab my coffee and sit down, because I know it's gonna be one of those good awful co-worker stories. They need more of those. A whole compilation of those Masayoshi injustice stories would be awesome; there's a bit of a character arc to play with in there (hee hee).
I agree, he didn't even trust his own daughter. He could've asked for more proof, but after being alone for so long, I guess he didn't want to lose a potential love interest.

She did the right thing moving in with her future husband and distancing herself from her dad. He is just lucky he is even getting a 2nd chance with his daughter after turning against her so easily.
If I was accused for doing assault, I would either call the police to check for assault abd if none I sue the company and my boss for false information
The story with the employee who weaponizes her incompetence reminds me of a lazy coworker who got angry at another co worker for their response when they received a promotion.

Story 1: That irresponsible jerk of a boss! Story 2: What a toxic boss! Story 3: That evil boss is a succubus! Story 4: Yahata is lazy and irresponsible! Story 5: Ryuta is a terrible dad! Story 6: Rena is such a liar!
Story 2. Not sure how someone who has a history of harassment is going to be believed over someone who does not. Especially when there was no evidence. HR really failed on this one
Ryuta stole a lot of money from Kimiko and blamed his sister for all they saved up. Both Kimiko and her sister-in-law cut ties with Ryuta because he stole money from both his exwife, his former sister, his former family, and his former friends. He even lost his job.
If I was Nomaru, I would’ve never talked with the co-workers again and request to be transferred to another part of the building, let alone not talk with my family who chose to believe a manipulative, lying gold-digger. Those that betray you and never listen to your side of the story don’t deserve to be trusted for some time. The dad was VERY lucky that Nomaru’s a forgiving person and forgave her dad and her co-workers. I only hope that people in that situation learns to listen to both sides of the story and not side with one person who abuses their victims and abuse their powers in the business.
I don’t think the workers in Japan have those kinds of rights that is why bullying is the norm for them. They also have to say yes when they want to say no because of societal pressures. I personally think that’s why isakai is so popular. They also have services where they run away from home as adults. They get relocated and a new identity. Crazy stuff.
100,000 yen to USD as of 6/19/24 is 633.13 actually sounds reasonable. It’s hard sometimes in these stories to figure out what is outrageous and what’s an inconvenience. 633.13 is an amount that may set them back but it won’t force them into bankruptcy. So the first time I wouldn’t be suspicious but the second time. Yeah no way! My first thought would be I’m sorry she’s unwell but we need to inform your parents. She needs to come home. Being treated in a developing country is risky and see what they say. You cannot trust an addict!

The male VA that voices Masayoshi and the dad is amaaazing! Great voice!!
Nano's dad was really stupid to fall in love with that evil witch of a boss.

I know. That woman drove wedge in their bond and the dad let her do it. I'm amazed that Nano could forgive her dad.
