We not recommend this fix , because it's always better to find the breakage in the wire ! This video is for people that want easy and fast fix of it , and doesn't want to pay a lot of money for repair .
In this video we will show how to repair a faulty angle eyes on E60/E61 BMW . This repair is when the angle eyes bulb is not the problem . After checking the wiring integrity in the headlight itself and most of the wire under the hood , we decided to fix it like that . We had good supply from the footwell module ( FRM Module ) , so for sure we had some breakage in the wire inside the car , behind the dashboard .

In my cousins bmw e60 535d the stock angel eyes start up and after 5 seconds they stop any ideas to why this is happening
2008 BMW 535i I did this it only lasted a minute. What is the name and location of the module where it gets power? Thanks
Any suggestions, the bigger rings are not working on both front lights. Inner rings (small ones) and upper stripe is working fine on any of switch position.

@@franken9182 I think thats a problem of a bulbs. OEM (yellow) bulbs work fine.

Day time running light is working with one keyfob but not working with the other one which has dead rechargeable battery inside of E60 525i. Do you have idea about that. Please let me know. Thanks 🙏
What if everything works except the daytime running light? even after a new bulb.

FRM module нещо като BCM ли е при BMW?
Не изцяло , бих казал , но има допирни точки да . Отговаря за вратите , светлините и следи височината на колата . BCM-a отговаря за доста повече неща в другите коли , но и за тези неща в някой случай .
След тази процедура ще показва ли грешка за изгоряла крушка? Благодаря
Ще показва да. Докато не се намери проблема с кабела или с модула, няма как да спре да си я търси

@@individual2096 Не. Трябва да се проследи кабела до модула, дали е здрав. Ако е здрав имаше един ресет на модула, ако не помогне и всички маси и плюсове са налични до модула, най вероятно проблема е в него

You going to need something more professional to be able to learn to modify ECU files . There are different schools in Europe for that . Search for Alientech and you will find some useful information

I've just tried this on my car, left amd right halos both were not working, after I did this they work for about 5 seconds and then they go out along with the eye browl, almost as if they are drawing too much current.

@@user-no2me1tg8v I spliced it with the fog lights, now they only turn on with the fog lights, I am too cheap to replace the module.

You need to go all the way . Trace the bad wire or diagnose a faulty footwell module
i coded it off the idrive with carly, not that cheap though
how realistic could it be to just contact trace and just run another wire?, without having to mess around the existing bundle of wires ?
Sure, if the client is willing to pay me for this, it is not a problem. But this is not my car, so I'm doing what the client wants me to do
