So timely! My husband shared this scripture with me this past weekend, and I woke up praying this praying. Lord, help me to forgive my mother and siblings, help me give forgiveness because you gave me forgiveness. I clicked so fast because I needed help in this regard. Thank you so much 💓 💗

Jesus Christ saved my life . I was an alcoholic meth addict and gangbanger. I always denied Jesus and said I was the devils son, one day i saw how I couldn’t over come my addiction and I cried fell to my knees and begged god to not forget about me and to help me . The next day I had no urges to use or drink . I’m not even kidding I stopped hanging out in the hood and went to church . I would eventually relapse but I never forgot about Jesus and when bad things would happen I would pray and tell him no matter how bad things get I’ll never deny you because I knew he existed time after time he showed me that things get better . Now I’m 1 year sober from meth and 3 months sober from alcohol. I’m not perfect but god is real and I feel his presence on a daily. I know I might relapse but as long as I have god everything is going to be alright ❤I love you my lord and savior Jesus Christ all praise be to you my lord !
Jesus, I am hurting beyond hurting right now. I feel like my heart has been literally pulled from my chest. You know that heart father God. Please help me to forgive and lose this hate and bitterness. Touch m er lord and we will find you some glory in all of this. Hallelujah thank you lord amen thank you lord
Forgiveness does not mean reconciliation, forgiveness doesn't mean the pain has gone away it means you are not bitter about the situation anymore and finally forgiveness is an act of faith🙌🏼🙌🏼

This has to be Holy Spirit’s bidding.
I’m here hating my husband for emotionally neglecting me while pregnant.
I have been experiencing the pains of late term pregnancy conditions every other day and he sees me and doesn’t offer to massage me or console me.
The most he has done is given me pain pills to help with the discomfort and walks out the door and goes to the gym.
Through out this pregnancy he has only offered to massage me 3 times after my pressing him.
I am 8 months now and he does NOTHING to help my pain even even when I ask.
I was so hurt today, that I wished the most horrible things to happen to him.
I bless God for you Mr. Parr.
I will forgive him, not only for my sake but for that of my angel who is awaiting her arrival in 3 weeks.
I will not drink from the cup of bitterness any further.
Father, I ask that you forgive him as I have.
Please God forgive me and strengthen my heart and mind.

Us humans are often fed up with our emotions which makes it harder to forgive yet we as an individual most of the time we always want forgiveness.

Even as far back as Isaiah 53:12 it was prophesised that Jesus will make intercession for the saints...how amazing is that
I do feel though that most people view forgiveness as a doorway for the hurt to come back into your life. You can forgive someone and let go of the hurt but it doesn’t mean you have to allow them back in. Forgive and let the hate in your heart go. At the end of the day people are just people and they honestly have no idea what they’re doing. ESPECIALLY IF THEY DON’T KNOW CHRIST! How can you learn to love if you don’t know the one who gave it to you in the first place. I’ve been in a season of solitude as I let God heal me and lead me to something better. Don’t allow other people run your life. Listen for Gods commands and be patient. God bless you Pastor Allen and God bless this world! Much love ❤🫶🏼🙏🏼

I forgive toughts who have hurt me. My old friends, the kids at my school, my ex's mom. i forgive them. but they don't understand how much they have hurt me. My old friend said he was tired of me. the kids in my school today spread personal things of me to the others. and my ex's mom to her away from me I cried that day its been a while since I heard my self cry that badly. i to be honest miss my ex. she really trusted me, I was always there when she needed me. i made her happy. with everything that goes at her home. i was the person she came to. and too my friends I understand why they felt that way. and the thing is I don't really know if what my thoughts are saying true. god bless you all. love god. love jesus. love the holy spirit and forgive those who have done you wrong.
The last few minutes really hit so different, for I still think about the pin but I always think about the sacrifices Jesus made for US!

I'm glad you reminded people that forgiving isn't forgetting. Being reconciled to a toxic person isn't a good idea, however, it's an act of faith to release ourselves from that individual and give them over to God so we don't destroy ourselves with the poison of bitterness.

I was talking to the guys at work and one was talking about how someone done him wrong many years ago.out of the blue the guy called him and asked for forgiveness for what he done.he told him he couldn’t.
I spoke up and told the story of Jesus forgiven those who crucified him and how can we not forgive someone.really don’t know if it made a difference in his decision but at least I planted a seed that may grow.
Please Jésus-Christ, give me strength to love and forgive, as you did at the cross. Come and love through me, come and forgive through me...Amen

I liked this: "forgiveness is not the absence of PAIN but the absence of BITERNESS." Bitterness can destroy our inner being, ultimately affecting our fellowship with others and our relationship with God.
This video convicted me deeply and came at just the right time! I got into a nasty argument with my relatives yesterday over trivial things, and I felt very bad about it. I was relieved when they welcomed me back but I knew deep in my heart that things could’ve gone much worse, we need to be careful with what we say and do in this life.

I have had a friend in my past and a few family members who had caused me so much pain and disappointment. As I have forgiven them through Christ's strength, I still feel pain. But I do not have bitterness and anger. And in some ways, I can understand what Jesus meant by 'They know not what they do'.

A sat Thursday night in a men's Bible study over John 13-14. I asked them, "What is the first thing Jesus did when he met Judas after Judas betrayed him?" Answer: He washed his feet and served him a meal. I think we can handle whatever someone did to us.

Well said Brother Allen, thanks for reminding us. If people actually read The Holy Bible, they would see what we as Followers Of Christ are meant to do when it comes to forgiveness and what that entails. Yes it is very hard to forgive those who have hurt us. Jesus Christ led by example, and we are to follow his example. Yes it's hard, but if we don't forgive, why should Holy Father forgive us?
