I miss the tutorial guy. He was the best part of Webflow.
He has left WF & started his own channel
@@pixelperfectpravinwhich guy is he talking about? And whats his new channel name?
I’d follow the old tutorial guy into a new religion 🙏 😢
@@pixelperfectpravinwait seriously? I agree! What’s his channel? Definitely need him back at WF if this is true.
McGuire, Brennan I think
Love the editing CMS items in the editor
Love the components slots
Love the sharing of component libraries
Love page building and templates
Not going to comment on the AI stuff because it doesn't affect me much and also sick of AI and it's broken promises and ethical considerations.
But mostly, I had really hoped action on a whole bunch of other things that have been on the wishlist for years. I know this stuff isn't sexy and it isn't AI, but it would make our lives so much easier.
-Custom order for Collection Items and sorting and filtering
-Increase Number of Nested Collection Lists Per Page
-Tables
-Ability to style CSS Combinators
-Custom Breakpoints
-Ability to duplicate Collection Page
form dropdown field
100% agree with @seantubridy3242. I want to see Webflow do its homework first and fix all the basic shortcomings. This event made me so angry that I wrote an open letter to the C-Level of Webflow for the Pure Neo Magazine. And this open letter got the attention of the CPO Rachel Wolan on LinkedIn. So feel free and join the conversation and spread the word. The more engagement we create in this conversation, the more leverage we gain.
Please bring full support for EU Data Complianze and EU Datacenter Support to Webflow.
Any update on video hosting! incredible progress, thanks webflow team!
Webflow, please allow image fields in CMS to be populated from the assets panel, with the alt tag. I don’t understand how I can’t take advantage of the assets panel for most of the images on my site (i.e. add alt tag once, compress to webp)
OMG YESSSSS! I think about that everytime
Really loving the client-friendly approach with Page Building Mode and Component Slots. I can think of a few clients who will enjoy this!
Honestly, these things are so core that its surprising that only now they got introduced. (slots, shared libraries, click to edit, third party integrations, page templates, etc) . Its nice seeing WebFlow catch up
Exactly. But it's clear to me that something changed in Webflow at their core principles: After +5 years using the tool, it's now clearer than ever that they are FINALLY looking at things from a technical perspective. They stopped thinking purely about designers and the easiness of doing things. They are finally taking care of the technical shortcomings of the platform, and I'm all for it.
Page building and component slots are gonna be amazing! 🔥
We are going to get Quantum AI CMS before getting the CMS Slider and CMS filters/sorting.
I was hoping for some E-commerce updates 🙏🏾. Lovely work for the Webflow team as always.
There is still a lack of basic features that are core for a business, such a more comprehensive and complex rule system for creating coupons, lack of triggers for the "logic" flows unless you integrate Zappier or similar, very poor settings for paging, and lot of more basic things that are needed for a e-commerce site. All these improvements are mainly for design/CMS/landing pages, while growing with an e-commerce made in webflow is very hard.
Update: why multilenguaje is still a pay feature? 😆 can't even think on all this new ai features pricing.
I agree. I wonder why Webflow has been resistant to improving the e-commerce section? Wix is not the best. But they do have solid e-commerce. E-commerce and membership have always been the biggest demand. I don't mind 3rd party plug-ins for Webflow. But my clients might not want to pay additional fees to make that work. An internal system is better. Some of these new additions seem redundant.
Please make the layout as figma for easy zoom and out and zoom in across frames
Really excited to implement these new features. This is why I choose Webflow again and again 🎉🎉
I always think with these long Webflow release videos… I won't watch the whole thing.
And then I stick till the end and am really hyped for the future of web we build together!
This is amazing. The CMS on page editing, libraries, increasing custom code limits from 10 - 50,000 characters. Very excited about Intellimise to be rolled out later this year. So what the hell is going to be released at Webflow Conf? There's some madness coming. Assuming it's a dance routine that's off the chain to compete with Canva
Exciting stuff! Thanks Vlad 👊🏻 don’t forget the Semflow SEO app 😉
seo is dead dude wake up, we are in a world of chatgpt and others...google gives you already answers when you type something and by next year the clicks to websites over search engines will drop extremely. The SEO of modern day is you pay for ads and advertise you website.
Really excited to see the features!
All of this is fabulous. The next big ticket item on my list are the actions. The model is tedious and outdated - we need much better ways to bring life to components and elements ; it's not just the animations, it's in fact the mundane stuff like toggles ! And we also need CONDITIONAL actions. Action reuse is a pain currently ; some of my lists of saved animations are ginormous. At any rate the whole thing needs an overdue update. P.S. We need multi-selection in the elements list and we need more functionality directly in the list, like hiding elements, making layers, etc.
Awesome updates! Thank you to the team for all of your hard work 👏
The CSS and JS files are still causing TTFB issues in core vitals. I think the CDN could be better to overcome this. It’s really easy to overlook performance issues but while Google is still paying attention to this then SEO’s will be doing so too.

Finally a component library... been wanting that for years
All about this release update screams CUSTOMISABILITY ✨ Well done team. Life saver for us Designers and Devs.
Got thought in the AI though… lets see the irl performance and use cases for it.
I only watch webflow because of their creativity
This is amazing! Thank you
WhoopWhoop, cant wait for my next webflow projects 😍
Stoked to see you mentioned, Lieutenant L!
THANK YOU WEBFLOW, YOU ARE AMAZING!!
Amazing updates, showcased in a really engaging way - thank you. As a SOHO web designer I’m not sure how many of them will be relevant, but I can cherry-pick, which I’ve always done from the Adobe Suite. I’m fired up for the future and very much looking forward to Webflow Conf UK in October. In short… Brilliant. And I can do a Rubik’s Cube in 37.5 seconds!
Add the feature of changing the basebreakpoint.
What about copy and paste pages/components between sites? Thanks.
It's a shame that obvious fixes such as highlighting multiple items at once in the navigator or being able to change/set your breakpoints are still not implemented. I don't understand why the slider isn't fixed: it's too outdated and has become unusable. Why is it not possible to change variable values for individual breakpoints? (Right now it's only suitable for defining colors, unless you resort to custom code). Also, Webflow AI was announced a year ago, but we only got it as training and nothing more, whereas Figma released the AI that people have been waiting for. The Webflow team, while doing a great job, is not focusing on the old problems, and that's a shame.
Love it!
Thank you :)
Thank you 🙏
To what plans will the Page Builder Mode be available? Also Growth and Agency?
Love these updates.
Please develop group selecting in navigator panel, so we don't have to move elements one by one.
My key highlight and takeaway is Webflow x Intellimize and also AI in the designer. I'm stoked!!! Can't wait.....
Thanks. Super exiting stuff
This is all well and good, but literally all anyone wants is being able to scale the height of the viewport when previewing mobile breakpoints
One suggestion of letting developer change the base breakpoint. If possible think about it too.
Asset Bae!!!!!
Asset Bae seems awesome. I hate doing alt text.
I'm interested in Intellimize but when they announced Ai a couple years ago I really thought they meant text > canvas generation like Wix Studio. I'm relieved but a bit unsure how big the userbase it going to be for these A/B testing superpowers.
All awesome, thanks!! But i hope so bad for a complete solution to build awesome shops with webflow without any complicated unreliable shifts between shopify and webflow... nothing I could sell at that point and I want to be able to do so so bad! 🙂
Unless I’ve been living under a rock for a few years, didn’t Webflow themselves state a couple years back that they wouldn’t be putting any more resources into e-commerce?! I’m pretty sure they did.
@@_HMCB_ true. doesn't mean they can't make up their minds. e-commerce is more and more important and becoming part of everybodys game.
Webflow kullanmayı bilmiyorum.yeni öğrenmeye başlayacağım İnşaAllah.Ama yenilik haberleri çok güzel...
Why does each break point include the 1px from the last breakpoint? What an annoying update.
I used to be able to scale my design fluidly by clicking and dragging on the edges of the visual designer, but now it scales awkward and I have to keep manually typing in the break point I want to view my website at... so confused...
Is that the same studio Apple uses? :D
LIBRARIES!!!!!!!!!!!
Filezilla - олды здесь 😅
33:53 Dynamic Lightbox support sounded my alarm klaxon because as a former photographer, having a drag-and-drop interface for image galleries that you can place on static pages natively is something I've been waiting for.
But unless I'm missing something (and the documentation doesn't seem to have been updated) on testing this doesn't quite hit the mark :( You still can't connect a multi-image collection on a static page. You can add a LIGHTBOX connected to a multi-image field: and when you click on the lightbox it opens up multiple images. But you can't display a grid of thumbnails. Just a single thumbnail that you can't even pull from the actual multi-image field.
Am I missing something here? It's definitely usable for a few specific use cases. But what would be better is just having the same functionality that you've got on a CMS template page on any static page as well.
you could just have added epiphanic background audio for more engaging content!
Not stoked that we're investing 1000's of hours into Webflow app development right now.
Seems like Webflow is becoming overblown in all the wrong way. Soon it will be another Wordpress.
As a developer, I'm loving the changes. Finally, Webflow is providing a structure that allows following technical good practices, and it's finally becoming a proper tool for those with more of a technical background.
It's not becoming WordPress, it's still far from it. Differences are at the core level... and the good news is that it's distancing itself even more from simple drag-and-drop builders such as Elementor.
Again, I'm loving it all! It's finally allowing proper professional and technically-sound websites without a lot of "going around" limitations imposed by the old not-technically-inclined platform.
@@TFE6979 Well, said. I actually agree on most points.
Just some features that annoy me, and some that I would really like to see.
Webflow so slow updating their tutorials.
Tired of seeing vids that have been outdated by the new interfaces.
We hear you - we're building a new Webflow University that is more scalable and is better able to keep up with the pace of new features.
Webflow eCommerce improvements please.
I still can't solve a Rubik's Cube. I've watched every video about it on the internet. Grimur help.
I am not happy with these announcements. Not at all. I want to see Webflow do its homework first and fix all the basic shortcomings. This event made me so angry that I wrote an open letter to the C-Level of Webflow for the Pure Neo Magazine. Fortunately, the open letter got the attention of Webflow's CPO Rachel Wolan on LinkedIn. So feel free and join the conversation and spread the word. The more engagement, the more leverage.
