Can they be used without the need for power from a radio of are they now battery operated like the T5’s? This is why a lot of people don’t choose them.
Hey! Neither the T5 nor the T7 are powered by a battery. Both are powered directly from the radio. This is done to keep weight down and limit the need for batteries.
@@INVISIOCOMMUNICATION We don’t care about weight. I’m assuming this is why Regiment chose not to use your headsets. We care about functionality. I helped get the contract with SFAB, but a lot of guys were going out buying their own Peltors for the capability of using them without the need for a radio.
It is definitely not functional in any way, cause you have MASSIVE additional weight with radio and/or PTT not being able to control it on the T7 itself with no direct powersupply. Big minus!
Can this Invisio T7 be used with persistent systems MPU5 radio?
Yes, through our V Series control units.

Can I use T7 with X50?
Hey! Unfortunately not. To use the T7, you will need to upgrade to our V series control units.

Noted, thanks for your thoughts.
