The first time I saw Shudder To Think was also on October 10 (my birthday) in 1989. Tiny club in Carbondale, IL (really, a pizza place that hosted a lot of punk shows). There may have been a total of 30 - 35 people there.

I met the guitarist at a show in support of his other band, Mind Science of the Mind who I hadn't yet heard. Anywho, I mentioned that "Pony Express... was my favorite record of that year. It seemed like he didn't believe me. Probably the most genuinely modest and kind guy I've met in a long time. The band proceeded to play and were ignored in a room full of 35 idiots.

30 years ago, i would have been all over this. Now adays, not so much. All i see and hear is tedious pretentiousness and pomp. Not to mention that early helping of self righteous ingdignation for anyone ingesting anything outside of an aspirin! Give me a break. Get a job. 🤣
One of the greatest bands to ever rock the earth.

This is a great set. Phenomenal band.
It’s not hyperbole to call these guys the most unique, inimitable band of all time.
It's 2023 can we get another reunion please?
I wish they played "Earthquakes Come Home" more often.
Me, too!
I agree with both of you! That song is great!
a tip : you can watch series on Flixzone. Been using them for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.
@Nash Elian yup, I've been using Flixzone for since december myself =)
