Hi Sanne! Every time I watch your videos my list gets more extensive! I never tried any from the house, I need to try Ylang Nosy (LOVE Mortal Skin), Cacao Azteque (Really like Scherzo) and Ambre Gris. You were looking for your favorite Jasmin, Charlatan from Fort & Manlé is the one for me, and I'm looking for my perfect Cacao fragrance, so far Killer Vavoom from Azman is my No. 1, will definitely get a sample of Cacao Azteque, also heard very good things about Fueguia 1833 Muskara Cacao. Totally feel you on the things we search are not always what we need, I try to live without expectations, let life surprise me, almost always something unexpected is what you really need, you just have to trust and flow. Thanks for the video Sanne!!!
I've not tried any of this brand but I would love to try nosy be. Having said that though, the jasmine one sounds great. I tried Jasmin des ange this week and that was nice but just too sweet.
Hi ❤ heady yess, it's heady... Intoxicating.. I sometimes even get a super ripe blackcurrant in it.. Totally off the topic, but have you tried Humbert Lucas 777? I like your taste in fragrances!!!
@@sanneparf once I will get a chance to smell them (hopefully soon!) will share my thoughts 😘 yes, while I always try to be respectful of the work behind I am going to share my experiences ☺️
Hi, Lala! Hope you are doing great 🩷 There's something special about it.. tried to describe CA to my best abilities in this video. I do not imagine Mexico, when I smell it. To me it's like Northern meadow meets Indian spices & I'm enjoying it 😃
Great and informative video Sanne. Thank you, this is quite an introduction to the brand. Have never heard of them before but their creations look great and also some skilled perfumers behind them! The Cacao Azteque looks really interesting! Also loved your relationship with the Jasmin De Pays and finding the comfort in it. Very insightful about the human nature and our tendencies to seek, for "this" or "this"..
I just bought myself a bottle of Mimosa Tanneron, it's so delicate and creamy, it reminds a bit of suntan lotion without being tropical or coconutty in any way it's so special ! Im loving it for this weather we have right now (im also from Spain) Saludos !
Hello gorgeous! Thank you so much for the suggestions! I'm very interested on this fragrance house but unfortunately there's no where to test them where I live.. I'll try to get samples of your suggestions ✨❤️ Have a lovely day!
Hey, Sarah ❤ not a safe blindbuy.. it's very particular.. dense & intoxicating/heady feel. To me it's an evening scent, as it feels on the darker side of the spectrum.. Hope you are doing great!
@@sanneparf I guess I will get a sample first ( more reasonable as you mentioned 😁) I am moving countries soon and looking for that scent that will always remind me of this memory ❤️ I am thinking of getting Alambar by Laboratorio Olfattivo- the notes intrigued me 🌺
@@SH13.9. oh wow, moving countries.. I might also next year... it's a bitter sweet transition, isn't it? Alambar is a somewhat safe blindbuy imo, we usually enjoy similar perfumes & I have 30ml bottle of Alambar 🩷 It's great that they have multiple sizes..
@@GeorgiaTonka one reviewer said that it smelled fecal... Hmmm... So i haven't tried it, but I want to, because some say Naxos & Atomic Rose smell like insect repellent & I disagree 😆
I enjoyed this so much, thank you, I have Nosy Be and Vanille Tahiti and enjoy both so much 😍 Vanille de Tahiti can be a bit challenging on cooler days as I pick up on the anamalic notes more, but otherwise it is one I have come to appreciate much more with time 😍 I plan to get a fb of Arancia Di Sicilia as soon as I finish my travel size, it's so gorgeous 🥰 🍊Want to get a travel size of Jasmin du pays, Rose de Taif and Ambre gris next xx
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts ❤️ I have heard so much positive about Arancia, so it's on my "must sample" list. The jasmine is a delight, very transportative ❤️ I hope you will enjoy. Ambre Gris is very powdery, but has an opulent vibe - definitely worth at least sampling & is great for the cooler weather..
Ylang Ylang Nosy Be is in my top 5 favourite scents. So exotic and gorgeous. Have you tried the vanilla fragrance from PMC, Vanille de Tahiti? I would be curious to hear your take on that one as I found it quite challenging, and not what I was expecting. I also enjoyed your 3 parts Middle Eastern fragrances videos and hope there will be more. 😊
Thank you so much!!! I really want to try their vanilla, but a lot of people have been describing it as fecal. Is it true? Well, some flowers also have that facet in nature, but if it's really unwearable then... Well ... 😁🥹 I wanted to blindbuy it, but stopped myself for this reason. Let me know your thoughts!!! ❤️🙏
@@sanneparf For me it feels like an unsweetened vanilla with a hint of dryness and a dollop of something animalic akin to aged beeswax with old honey. It's not overpowering but does set a tone for most of the wear. It's not the kind of vanilla we've become accustomed to in modern perfumery, but rather feels like a vanilla flavoured woody fragrance, with a fairly natural sweetness, like sweet wood. It's definitely unusual and while I found it interesting, I couldn't warm to it. You should try to get hold of a sample. I'd love to know what you think of it!
The propolis note in it is my subjective opinion only, it's not disclosed in the scent pyramid on Fragrantica, but we all should trust our noses the most, right? I'm very familiar with propolis & I smell it clearly 😃 It wasn't a love at the first sniff, but it grew on me..
