Hey some feedback between your basses and the NI Basses. I would recommend some pattern additions to your basses, you do not need to go over the top, but the NI basses have a toolbox of common keyswitches such as 8th/16th note strumming built in. Sounds insanely natural and speeds up flow.
Given that your bass target market is metal and rock which almost 99% of the time feature a strummed chorus... this would be an amazing addition and an instabuy. As I love your bass tones(I own grove bass and it slams), but I love the NI workflow.
Can we have a kontakt library of his normal guitar too one day? 😅❤

Bad timing lol was using amplesound ray5 for years, then got the first djinn bass a couple of months ago, then got djinn 2 when it came out, I originally got the first djinn bass from seeing it in one of niks videos, Irony? 😄

Do i need further Equipment? Sry for stupid questions... Beginner here. I have 2 e guitars and amp + pedals but no midi Keyboard or other Musical programms besides kontakt 6&7 and noct bass
A daw is needed. You don’t need a midi keyboard. You can program the keys on a piano roll in your daw. I just use GarageBand. Having monitors is nice to mix music… and you’ll need an interface for those monitors to talk to your computer. Or if you have a 3.5 mm jack on your computer you can go hose companions and not get an interface. It will sound good but it will sound different to other people online as the Bose speakers really color the sound.

Am I right in thinking this will only work with programed midi? and it is not possible to play the midi in with a real bass is that correct or am I wrong?
Do i need other programms to get the other fearures like the notes when and how to play? I dl noc bass today and i just can play the Interface with mouse clicks... Is there a in depth Tutorial??

Also some software out there like ez bass will do a decent job at auto tracking your guitar performance. You can track the midi with that and use submission bass sounds

QUESTION... Herman, have you ever thought about sampling a guitar?? I'm sure most of us play guitar but there'd still be some use for it! Writing, blending, making some crazy over-the-top EDM metal with that DOOM switch on bass. It could get nasty, Herman.. Just something to think about... Also, I only own six-string guitars so if you did a 7 or 8, that'd be even better. You could just sample the bottom four strings for all I care lol. Then I could finally catch up to the kids and their 8 strings and be brootal once again! My drop c bullshit ain't cuttin' it anymore, Herman. Might as well be E standard.
I wish people would just buy a bass and play it for real. It's not as hard to record as drums
