@@MusicalKinetics I just bought Zoom H8 with ZOOM WSU-1 "dead cat" (I am pretty sure others do not give a transparent result like this one does), Duracell rechargable batteries and Duracell Ion Speed 4000 Battery Charger. I would also consider a strap: Peak Design Slide Lite Camera Strap Black (SLL-BK-3). I proper bendable mount for it would also be good, but I am not planning to do a ton of field sampling work - only once in a while. I hope this helps. Keep up the good work! hey man! great video. I need your help. I am a filmmaker based in nigeria. I have the zoom H8 and a couple microphones. I love music and i want to have a musical series where i invite my friends who can sing to come to my studio and do live performances. what i do is , pick a song instrumental on youtube and connect that to my airpods and give one ear to the performer to listen to while singing. I do not know how best to record this so i can conveniently work with the instrumental and the vocals in the edit room. how do i sync ? is there a way to have the zoom record a special track with the beat that the performer is listening to and also record the vocals seperate ?

Hey. I’ve never used it in this way but if you were to do so, I’m suspecting that you will simply use the line output on the left side. The right side has the headphone output

Hey ✅ I tried it and could not get different effects on the different channels. Plus the SSH6 module did not allow any effects at all. The only piece that was interchangeable for all the channels was a choice between the limiter, compressor or nosie gate. All of these only work at 44.1k Did this answer your question ❓

However you can put the effect on Send and apply the effect to any channel as much as you want. Although this does not effect the registration just the output.

Can you make please a video which cable you have to use for your keyboard, I use it the interface app so I can make music to my laptop,I also interested which cable for your speaker, you can use, I don't know which cable I can use, and I can't hear the sound coming from the microphone
