Good review btw. It’s reviews like yours that have ultimately made my mind up of getting a tracer again. The 2019 model I had was amazing. With the addition of the tech, mainly the suspension and now down quick shift this bike won’t disappoint anyone. Good honest bike.
I got mine a week or so ago. It's so much smoother than the old 2016 Tracer I had. Can't believe how much they have improved. No more snatchy throttle and clunky gear box 😁

Once you get used to the dash its looks become irrelevant unless you ride staring at the dash instead of looking down the road., I'm 5'9" and the low seating position feels fine and the windscreen does have a bit of buffeting but it's not bad.
Hi David, yes exactly. As mentioned it doesn't take away from how good the bike is and the screens do all that is required of them. Different riders will of course fit better of worse depending on the setup but the cool thing is it can be tweaked to suit. Great bike. Cheers 🍻
Great review, I’ve got a 2019 tracer gt and need new boots , those Bridgestone bt32 are my next choice after your review, saving up to get 9gt ( red of course) 😊👍

@@Revviews Only the Guzzi. I'm in no rush though as I currently have a KTM SAS so won't make a decision until I'm ready to change. The Guzzi is a bit down on power but has lovely character. The Tracer looks great value but not sure I can get over those screens. People say the Tiger is great but something just doesn't float my boat (the 850 looks great value though). I want to try the Multistrada but it is pretty pricey.
@@stevepovey2489 Yeah it's a tricky choice. Agreed screen are the only thing that might bother be slightly about the Tracer. I'd skip the Tiger 850 as you lose some kit as well. 900 is the better shout. I actually really liked the 900 and although an early video of mine I have done a review on it if you wanted to see more. F900XR could be good as well.
@@Revviews I can't do BWM, not an option for me after previous experience. Maybe I'll hang onto the KTM for a bit and buy a Speed Twin or Z900RS for a Sunday :-)
I’m actually looking between this one or the versys 1000SE… very difficult because they are both great in their own ways…. I can either get more confort or more animosity from the engine…. I owned a 2016 tracer also so it’s really difficult

On the old tracer I had you could hold in the menu button for 5 seconds and it would turn the whole display to a white background. Be interested to know if this one does it as I’m waiting delivery of a new 2023 model. Like you say the screen doesn’t take away from how good the bike is. Plus you don’t look at the screen when you’re ripping it around 😅
You know, I'm not actually sure if it can be switched off. You can unplug it. The non GT doesn't have a quickshifter so that might be an option. What was it doing? Shifting when you didn't want to too? I had that a couple of times.
@@Revviews indeed, when wanting to shift manually and slightly touching the pedal, the machine shifted. I like to be in charge on a bike….for the rest it is a very nice machine, and the dash… some information to small for my eyes….it is the age you know…
Yes, you can switch the quickshifter on/off in settings. It does indeed blocks the no-clutch shifting since, the QS only shifts up when pulling the ga, (and down when letting off the gas).
I love my Tech Kamo Tracer 9 GT 2022 version, your right that sound is very cool sounding

The choice between this, the Tiger, V85tt and Multistrada 950s isn't easy. I guess we should really be pleased they are all good bikes.

Hand off throttle to change modes
Can one switch off the quick shifter, had a test drive, while willing to change gears old school the quick shifter was bothering me…
