+tpolce That sounds like SampleTank CS (free version) which does not support import. If you have purchased SampleTank 3 SE or SampleTank 3 full which do support import but those are greyed out please let support know at www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/mi/ and they will assist you directly.

+The MusicGlue Sounds like you are running the free version (SampleTank Custom Shop) which does not support importing. You would need to run SampleTank 3 SE www.ikmultimedia.com/sampletank3se or SampleTank 3 full www.ikmultimedia.com/sampletank3 in order to import.
+The MusicGlue I think that's their hustle. I paid $300 for the workstation bundle which includes Sampletank Free then came to find out I have to pay another $80 to upgrade to Sample tank Se. It's a game but whatever.
trying to import sampletron samples in ikmp format, followed instructions but only created reference without showing any of the imported samples, no errors in the process though

Hi! How do i import the "Multi" (preset instruments that i combined) from Sampletank 2.5 to Sampletank 3?

This does not work importing Esoundz (Sonic Reality) Symphony Strings 2.
The presets and samples do not load only the headers.

Problem: "Import Legacy Instruments" and "Import Samples...: is greyed out and can not be selected. Can someone help?

I have the exact same problem and I am in contact with ikmultimedia support but so far no solution :(

SampleTank 3 Free does not import. SampleTank 3 full www.ikmultimedia.com/sampletank3 and SampleTank 3 SE www.ikmultimedia.com/sampletank3se do.
