i agree with you , his voice is still divine as before . How can it be that he has still so fantastic voice , because he is a little bit older now ? I can´t understand , but it makes me happy . I saw them at thursday in concert in Cologne , Germany . They were fit on the stage and had so much fun at playing , unbelievable ! And every song sounded as before

Dude move on, purple is even better with each mk, Steve Morse was by far the best guitarist they had, Blackmore wrote many songs I know, but he was an asshole that gives a shit for rock and roll since 1993, the new rainbow is a disgrace because he seems to have forgotten how to play electric guitar, purple got better with Steve and Sadly Jon Lord passed away, btw the new guitarist is awesome, with all the ability to play Morse's songs but with a dirty guitar like Blackmore on the 70s

Blackmore might have been a cunt but his guitar from 69 to 75 was PURPLE's best....all the memorable songs.... to compare don airey's keyboards to the great JON LORD is just insulting.... ian gillan is a joke now....he hasn't been able to sing since 'toolbox' in the early 90's....and is making a spectacle of himself.... if deep purple are even better - why don't they play CHILD IN TIME.... you must be DEAF or zoned out in some strange band worship.... only two decent members are glover and the amazing IAN PAICE....
The guitarist hasn't got the riff just as Ritchie plays it... great guitar playing but not a patch on the subtilties and nuance of Blackmore's improvisation. Disappointing.

At some point that was a debate, but since 2016 Blackmore himself let clear as water who is the better guitar player, Blackmore can't even be considered a guitar player anymore, deep purple kept on going and making incredible music thanks to Steve, Steve was until his last show with Dp the greatest guitar player that the band had, not the best composer (that would be Blackmore) but yes the best man for the job, being a band is not just being a great musician, you also have to be a team player
