Hi, this is a very informative video. Thank you for making it. I wanted to know if there is a comparatively low resolution data sets, can wavelet analysis will show the significant variation ?
as far as i know, it can be used becasue it is used to understand the frequency of data
What is the meaning of Annual oscillation (AO) and semiannual oscillation (SAO) in the lower atmosphere?
annual oscillation refers to the yearly cyclic events which occurs in either the whole atmosphere or a climate variable . one of the example is season changes. whereas semi annual oscillation are the changes obeserved twice a year and one of the example is change in trade winds (west to east and east to west)

You have a deep knowledge. I have 15 years temperature data upto 30km. I want to see the periodicity of 5km,1okm,15km,20km,25km and 30 km, how can I see thiese periodicity? thank you

@@myknowledgespace I have 15 years Temperature data. I want to see the the periodicity which atmospheric parameter like (QBO,ENSO, Solar flux etc) affect each kilometer ?
@@tsehayenegash8394 if you have data at each kilometer, you can use the wavelets concept to check the periodicity for each Km, Although i have not applied to check the spatial periodicity but i believe that it works if you thing each 1km is like a specific area to check the influence

how do we perform wavelet coherence in Matlab? thanx
If you have a tool box named wavelet coherence master or Cross wavelet and wavelet coherence you can use "wtc(data1,data2)" and do it. I used the first one in 2019a version matlab, but i believe in the latest versions of matlab they already have this tool box and you can use "wcoherence".
