What BTS excels at is pulling complex feelings out of their listeners. To me this one is “mournful catharsis”. That first time Jimin comes in it feels like the moment where you take a stuttering breathe b4 you cry, if that makes any sense. Chills is right
This was my favorite MotS:7 track!!!! The harmonies are SO chilling. Jimin's breathy high notes are...perfection. The breaths behind Hobi's part. It was a crucial part of MotS:7 because it was the middle track and it kind of references the loudness of criticism. But at the end it gives a hopeful feeling. And then the album has those really nice songs. I play it ALL the time. I wish we would get a live version but Jungkook didn't even remember it. 😭😭😭😭

i can hear this song in repeat , i guess it is because of your own stuff you go through in life , some are going through hardships etc... and this song is like speaking your own feelings, this song gives me the shiver everytime i hear it, and when i am in my car on the way to work i put bts songs and when this song comes, i just turn the volume up and my feelings just come out, sometimes in tears sometimes in happiness, i guess you feel this song when your feelings are close to this specific song I have been through a lot in 2022 so i guess it is just like shooting an arrow to my heart. Lorenna McKennit's "The Highwayman" is a song like that for me. It's an old English poem set to haunting music, just incredible. It's so much, I can't listen to it all the time.
This song gives me goosebumps - the combination of the bass and the wonderful harmonies - it's one of my favorites from that album. This song is the reason the back speaker in my suv is going bad...but it's probably fine 🤣🤣🤣

So my understanding, and forgive me if someone has already said this, is that the "bombs" are ARMY bombs, the name of the lightsticks that ARMY take to their concerts. Louder than the joy and intensity of the concerts, are the voices of all the ARMY who send them letters about their hardships, and share their struggles. RM talks about the writing process, and he is expressing the struggle of knowing the pain and suffering of their fandom while trying to find their place in that. What can they do to help us? Can they help us to feel better? The conclusion of the song is that they will sing to us forever. They will sing knowing that we suffer, and that we struggle, and that their music brings us joy and solace.
I get what you mean about replay value. The production on this is hypnotic, the vocals are beautiful but I can't find a playlist (work, drive, chill vibes) in which this would nicely fit.
