Is the crankshaft supposed to be pointed at the 3 o clock position, i have a 2000 isuzu rodeo 3.2 looks exactly like yours there are metal marks on the cams that show where they should be, also if they are out of time apparently you have to crank the driver's side cam to 3 o clock and then crank it the 90degrees to the timing mark, i believe that's only if its out of time I'm doing my water pump changed the pullies tensioner belt etc and put everything together with out doing that turn to 3 oclock and then use 14mm socket to turn her clockwise another 90degrees so she's on time.

In one of the timing videos there is a link to the 3.2 Timing video on RUclips. It's from the 80s so.

Hi Rob, been watching your videos forever. Great stuff. Anyway, where did you post the PDF torque specs mentioned 3:23?

Should be pretty easy to check if it's in time.

When you replaced those cam seals, did you have to remove the camshafts, and drive gear?

I never pulled the camshafts. The gears came off and the seals went in from the front.
