I just used that mousse a couple of days ago on freshly washed hair. I did the same exact style and it's already looking like I need to redo it 🙃. It's definitely my favorite mousse for a perm rod set, which lasted over a week. I'm not sure why my twists didn't last, though.
@@l.w.8591 I'll have to try that with this mousse. I used to do that with a different mousse but it would always end up too hard.
@@sheba653161 only add a moderate amount of gel and make sure its a moisturizing soft hold botanical gel. Be sure you apply both the mousse and gel on freshly shampooed and conditioned hair that is soaking wet not damp. I had the same problem until I learned better application and technique. I also apply both products all over my hair and not small sections at a time this helps to dilute the product to prevent product overload. I hope this helps. Sorry for the long explanation

Please try again tucking the ends. You wanna stretch the ends using a denman or styling brush then tuck the ends and begin rolling. Great turn out though!! Hoping to see you play with permrods more in the future!

I'm scared to do any mousse only styles. I use it instead of gel. The way my strands are set up, idk if the mousse will be enough product......

How long did it last?
Not long because I live in Miami 😭 so I would say like two days and then I used the stretched hair to do a different style.
