► Hair Color:
This a custom color job, created by a stylist at a salon, using a professional system not available in beauty supply stores and which requires a valid cosmetology license to purchase--no I do not know the name. It cannot be recreated precisely and the shade looks different on me every time she touches it up since she blends it up on the spot and it changes shades every time I wash my hair.
Bleach was not used. We have been lifting my hair lighter and lighter over time using developer (which is not bleach) since October of 2015. I will not post a video on how to color because I am not a licensed cosmetologist and I will not give directions on how to use chemicals that I do not have a good understanding of. If you'd like help with achieving this color, please consult a LICENSED professional who specializes in natural hair because coloring will alter your hair and can damage depending on your texture and the process.

I find it opposite. I can braid my hair within 30 minutes or less because I do them chunkier. My hair doesn’t take chunky twists and I hate twisting so much.. braidouts are also more stretched

I can’t braid. I can’t flat twist. I can’t do anything! Glad to know I’m not alone! 😂 when I was transitioning, braidouts was my go-to style. Now that I’m fully natural, twist outs are easier for me. I’m more of a definition lover because my hair is short. Definitely going to give the braid out another try!

So I tried the braid out side, and sometimes to get it fuller, I have to blow dry it, but I really love your hair, and try all your hairstyles!
Omg I can braid so much easier than twist but I always do the twist I thought it was better guess who switching to the braid out. Also if you braid the root it should help with definition!!! Thank you for this

Team Braid out for sure ! My hair does not work with twist outs at all which sucks..but with braid outs I can't do mine how you do yours I have to braid mine Striaght back on the scalp (jail house braids lol) in order to get definition and no frizz, otherwise they never come out looking good at all if I braid it any other way 🤷🏿♀️

My hair loves avocado oil.. I like coconut too, but only use it in spring. The braid out is it! I love volume and less definition... I also like a little frizz too.
I like it as well but not in every product. I think it depends on how blended/diluted it is. I love it on my skin in the summer tho!

I can’t choose! But I tend to get more consistent results with my twist outs for some reason, so I think I’ll go with the twist and curl.
The curls are more uniform with twist outs IMO. Braids be bushy and krinkly lol
