Nice little course, which you played very well. Great videography by your wife. You form a very good team. Your series on Scottish golf courses are a must watch,
David Swanson not no more after these vlogs, Andy has done us proud showing off the beautiful courses in the most beautiful places in Scotland...only problem going in to lock down its killing me now wanting to get out there and play, well done ladies no nerves off the Tee.....what a design built into the trees with picturesque views of lochs and the land scape, well this buckets is over flowing now 😂😂 And I reckon 2021 is going to be a good year playing some of these great courses.⛳️🥃
Really enjoying your channel Andy, especially these Scottish course episodes. You capture the ‘spirit’ of the courses superbly and your video production is excellent. Thank you and keep up the great work!
Once again a wonderful, relaxing and enjoy-full video. To me a big part of my golf game quite often isn’t the game itself but the environment I find myself in while playing in Arizona or Brazil each course has its own personality. Enjoy your day.
I used to go up to Scotland for a week every year (before kids and mortgages and stuff!) and we always played one “big” course but then 4 or 5 of the “less obvious” courses near by. Each and every time the courses around the more famous ones are almost as good and in many ways more enjoyable. As I think you’re finding the welcomes are second to none and the quality and choice of golf to be had unrivalled.
Great series Andy, your decision to go down this route is truly vindicated. As others have said, this opens up potential visitor revenues to clubs suffering difficult times, not only from golfers from outside Scotland but also from those of us who forget what is on our doorstep. Look forward to your travels in the future
Nice one Andy , brilliant you chose a 9 hole course !! My golfing career started from a 9 hole course !! Beautiful land !! Fantastic you are picking off these courses, which rightly so deserve their own credit !! It’s not all about the big name courses !! You have had some weather while your were up in the highlands , perfect timing 👌
Great video. Fantastic edit. Glad some more of the hidden clubs getting a fair review. Played here a year and a half ago and its a place i remember everything about. An understated first hole fools people that don't know this place but its magic. Fantastic welcome at this place also. Thanks for sharing 👍
How about a trip over to do some courses in Northern Ireland and Ireland next year Andy. Some beautiful hidden gems over here for you too try out. Hopefull covid will be cleared up by next summer and see a series from over here. Doing a good job mate. Keep up the hard work. Love the videos.
The lochs near the course are the Dornoch Firth and Loch Migdale. Looks beautiful. Not too dissimilar to the Boat of Garten! Great work mate. Every episode has been great so far! How many episodes have we got left? I'm going to be sad when the series ends...
Been twice and stayed in the village well worth the travel effort to play the golf in and around the area, Brora, Golspie, Tain and Dornoch all outstanding. 👍
yet another extraordinary video production. Andy, we enjoy the video's very much, but we also get a kick out of those times when you sample the food of the locals. Can you do more of the food sampling in your golf vlogs? For those of us here in the U.S., local cuisine's in your area are fascinating.
Lovely course and very typical warm highland welcome from its members. Wow! I've just checked out the club's website and I'm very impressed to see that full membership for the year is an incredibly reasonable £250.
As I have read throughout the series many people are saying what a great job you have done for Scottish Golf, question for you, will there be more of these next year? You could do this and help so many golf courses!
Amazing, so pleased I found this was one of your videos. I'm actually heading to Scotland and hope to get a few rounds in whilst traveling the NC500 for 7-8 days. What time of year was this, midge season (May)?
@@TheAverageGolfer It certainly looks lovely. As you cross the bridge there are usually lots of them in the narrow part of the river before it opens up.👍
For those of us who are inspired to follow in your footsteps (who knows when?) would you be able to produce a ‘travel’ map with green fee costs and recommended places to stay please? I understand that prices vary but even a rough idea would help to plan/budget for a trip. Thank you.
I have loved your Scotland, less obvious series. When we can all play and travel again,I'll be off to the Highlands, thanks to you. Cheers Andy...
Fantastic. Such a lovely part of the world. I could have watched an hour of that footage. Great wee course 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🏌️♂️⛳
Much appreciated and yes absolutely stunning part of the World

I think you can play here for £10/15 Dave, when you consider what some courses charge?!
This has to be the best footage and editing outve any golf chnl on YT. Period.
Very kind Bil thxs
Lovely video! There was a very spiritual tone captured through the footage and commentary.
Glad you enjoyed, Bonar Bridge has a great feel about it
Played Bonar Bridge last April along with Fortrose, Brora & Royal Dornoch. Cool course!!
Thats a nice tour
