Brooo I saw your Rabbits are Roadkill cover way back in the day, and just looked up covers again, then found this. I’m glad you kept at it! You got really good! This is awesome
Damn and I thought I had it almost... I have to learn your version! So much variations. I noticed that your pinky goes higher in the first couple parts and removed/lower on the last. Is it your interpretation or do you hear this in the recording?
Yes, the movement of the little finger is dependent on the note required. This was really the most comfortable and natural way to play, I am not bothered by removing the other fingers and just add it to the original chord shape. It's really helpful because the original chord can ring out longer and the transition is smoother :) I hear this on the recordings - most likely it is just 2 guitar tracks with slight differences between them. The augments are really fun though :)
Thanks! All of this I have figured by ear listening to the track with "supressed" vocal track. It's kinda hard to hear it though still. I am unable to separate the guitar tracks in a clear way. Also, if you give the track hundreds of hearings, you will start noticing things you haven't before. But the most important factor is to play it loud, all the minor details start to emerge then.
probably augs and sus chords. Never underatood why people ask for the tabs. Plenty of tab sites and apps. Plus if they can read tabs and chord charts, you definetly showed how you played it, they should be able to just watch and learn. Btw nice job on the cover. Personally i use open chords and their variations because i dont think barre chords sound as good, when im playing. You however do not have that issue. Definetly the best one ive heard.
@@highanglelarry funny thing is that you have to transpose for the most part off the tab sites. I've been playing this with basic chords for years, and I came across this cover and I'm like mind blown that I've missed so much of it.
