Thanks for watching! Also, yes I know Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 is out. I'm working on it! But Stanley Parable first! Now some fun facts about this video: 1. This is recorded using the Ultra Deluxe edition of the game. HOWEVER, I did not want to record any of the new content, as I feel people should play that for themselves instead of having it spoiled. It is very good. That said, the new content is VERY referential to the original content itself, which didn't fit well with the "roleplay" aspect of my video. 2. There are a lot of portions/choices that I cut out due to the whole thing getting VERY META and referring to Stanley as a player instead of a person in the game, which didn't really work well for the roleplay aspects. Examples: "The Baby" mini-game. Throwing Stanley into OTHER games. Etc. So they were cut. 3. This is the longest SINGLE episode I've ever done. I began work on this BEFORE The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe edition came out... however when I was looking into it, I found out about the new edition and decided to hold off doing the video until after it came out. 5. I've always thought the narrator in this game sounded like Stephen Fry, who narrates The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Considering that book series is a MAJOR factor in the "Press Start to Laugh" universe, this game felt like the perfect fit for this channel. 6. The letters at the beginning that Stanley is typing spell "D O O M G O D N E E D S C H E E T O S". 8. I originally named the narrator in this, but dropped it when the dialogue got a bit confusing. These are characters from a short-lived show about working in a corporate environment called "Better Off Ted". It's great. You should watch it. 11. How funny would it have been if the The Adventure Line talked back when Narrator scolded it?
I would love to see somebody animate this, even if it’s just a small part. I think it would be super interesting :>
those moments of silence before "OH SON OF A BIT-"
"Hey narrator, the line is suddenly being drawn by a 2 year old. Any advice? No? Still having your breakdown? Okay" 😆 💀
You could have chosen the blue door when he showed arrows on the red door. The blue door is behind Stanley.
I need a shirt that says, "For the love of Doom God!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same
I'd love Mind of Stanley in the vein of Mind of Gordon Freeman. Whoever wrote this dialogue perfectly encapsulated the sense of humor of the game
I just realized the office building in the game reminds me of the backrooms
I think that’s the very scenario of the entire game.
@@mecharaptor8.535 no it’s not
@@mecharaptor8.535 back rooms was birthed into 4chan years after Stanley parable
@Mecharaptor8.5 No
He typed "Doom God Needs Cheetos" which is great.
The fact that i cried over the zending because of how sad the narrator sounded but then this guy just makes me laugh at it. This video is very well done. My favorite tsp video
this is so entertaining i cant believe i watched someone just voiceover a game i'd already played myself for over 24hrs
I like how even when buttons were shown on the screen that he was pressing, he was just saying the wrong buttons
It is very cool when the narrator was speaking for Stanley, Stanley was saying the same thing at the same time.
"I'm caught in a time loop with a snarky British dude stuck in my noodle." A perfect description of TSP.
