I used to teach in a school opened in 1907, in 🇬🇧 a beautiful late Edwardian building. Every day the headteachers wrote in a log book in the beautiful old script with a feather quill, then later a fountain pen, from the first day until the mid sixties. They were fascinating! We sent them to the archives department in the town library for anyone to enjoy. I got quite good at reading the old writing 😁 Cursive handwriting is taught quite early here now, I was surprised when my American ex not only couldn’t do it he would print with a mix of upper & lower case, very strange to me
I’m so sorry I did not know that I tapped on the glass. I’ve used different types of tops on my desk and the majority of my views prefer the glass mat. 🙀

I really enjoy your ideas. I think I’d enjoy it more if you checked your microphone for vibration. It slips in and out of ‘focus’ and periodically just grates around your voice.
