I am learning so much from you. Thank you for the information. I am waiting for my photobooth to get here. Your videos are helping to prepare accordingly before the booth gets here. I appreciate you
Hi Nicole! Thanks so much for sharing this. We’re having our first outdoor event this Friday, so this is so timely. By the way there is something called Back Prop by Ed Altounian. It helps hold your backdrop against the wind. If you wanna look into it. A lot of boothers are raving about it. And I just have to say, I have so much respect for you doing this by yourself. I run our pb business with my husband and he’s doing most of the lifting. You work so hard and so generous to share tips to others. Appreciate you so much. -Irene, Salt & Light PB
Hi Irene! Thank you so much! And yes definitely have heard incredible things about the backprop! Thank you for sharing that, totally forgot to tag and mention it! I’ll edit the description now to include that.
Oooh fun! Yea make sure if it’s during the day that you’re protected from the sun as much as possible, super easy to have over exposed photos in full sun, and wind is definitely a factor! Best of luck! 🥳
I perform music and DJ. Gathering info on doing this too. I hate outside events. The elements especially sudden rain, wind and overheating. Outside is a challenge at times.
Hi! Very helpful information, thank you for sharing! Do you happen to have an equivalent alternative for the Anker Powerhouse? Looks like that option is no longer available
There’s an alternate one mentioned in the comments below but I’ll link again! www.amazon.com/dp/B07SM5HBK1/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_NZX437GH92398BCH8Z0Y?linkCode=ml2&tag=ownthemomentb-20
That was scary! I watched your podcast with Kaity on contracts, I believe, and really enjoyed it. I subscribed to both of your channels immediately. Great content. Is your salsa booth wireless?
Here are the salsa power requirements: Required Voltage: 110V - 120V Line Voltage: 100V to 240V AC Frequency: 50Hz to 60Hz Peak Power Draw: ~120W Average Power Draw: 45W - 60W
This one is great, a lot of Photo Booth friends have had success with it: www.amazon.com/dp/B07SM5HBK1/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_621WV1NP20GE0HZ8MGY5?linkCode=ml2&tag=ownthemomentb-20
The Verizon orbic speed 5g UW that I have connects up to 30 devices at 5g speeds for up to 30 hours or continuous use. So it’s more than enough for a single iPad and/or printer! The nighthawk from att has 5g speeds up to 8gbps and Wi-Fi up to 3.6gbps which can connect up to 32 devices. Nighthawk is more expensive but definitely will cover you as well.

Thanks for sharing. Outdoor events are a lot more work than indoors, but unfortunately most clients do not understand this reality.
Absolutely! It’s up to us to educate them, which can be a hard task!
Thanks for sharing so much helpful information on your videos? Where did you order the silver backdrop?
Thank you for your support! And I got it from Prop Shop Pros!
Did the Anker battery pack provide enough power to run the booth and printer? How many battery packs did you use?
Yup! For my wand lights I always bring a backup and I changed those out about 3/4 of the way through
